Clove Chapter 50
Boom!! There was another cannon. Now I really start to get nervous. I run to Cato and he wraps his arms around me. We set all that we gathered into a small pile. None of it is food... Or water. "We need to move closer to water." I say to Cato. He agrees and we gather all of the left over stuff and take it over to the river where we found Katniss. We set up there. While we are setting up Claudius Templesmith comes on and makes and announcement. "there is a slight rule change," he starts "the previous rules that say only one tribute can can win has changed. Now two tributes can win if they are from the same district, happy hunger games and... May the odds be ever in your favor." he finishes. That's when I realize what he said! I stand up and run to Cato. He picks me up and spins me around. He gives me a long soft kiss. I am smiling. "we can both win!" he says with the biggest smile I have ever seen. "I know!" I say back smiling. "we can do this. We WILL be going home together!" he says as he puts his hands on my face. He kisses me softly. We are both smiling as big as the moon
