Instantly everyone tensed ready for an attack.
Attack she did. The woman swept out her tail under them making them move back.
“Lisanna, take Lucy to a safe place so we can-“
“What the hell Natsu I can fight too you know” Lucy said annoyance clear in her voice they were under estimating her.
Natsu stared at her in shock at her outburst stuttering as he tried to choose his next words carefully. Lucy rolled her eyes before taking out her whip launching towards the woman.
“Lucy!” Natsu shouted in panic finally finding his voice.
Team Natsu watched in shock as she jumped to dodge the woman’s tail she swiped at her before swiping at her multiple times in midair.
The woman cried out at the stinging swiped that seemed to spread and swiped her tail at Lucy who was still in midair. Not caught off guard Lucy spun with a round kick meeting her tail before swiping at it with her whip falling to the ground.
The woman hissed in pain as the whip collided pulling her tail away before caddling it along with some of her flesh where the whip struck. “What is that thing” She hissed in pain staring at Lucy’s whip who smirked.
“Poison comes in handy don’t you think” She chuckled retracting her whip. Team Nastu stared wide eyes still shocked at what just happened seconds ago.
Lucy’s smirk widened. “By the way you lost something” She brought up her hand opening it revealing the dark key.
The woman stared wide eyes frantically searching her neck. “H-h-how!”
Lucy simply shrugged. “A magician never reveals his secrets.” She winked swiftly placing the key in a black pouch attached to her thigh.
“That was awesome. Where did you learn to do that?!” Lisanna exclaimed while Lucy just shrugged. “You don’t expect me not to learn a few trick after being kidnapped for 3 years?” She raised an eyebrow while the three of the just stared at her.
Rolling her eyes she jumped away as the woman launched herself at Lucy. “Give me back that key, it cannot be allowed to be in the wrong hands” She hissed launching at Lucy once again.
“Mind helping a friend?” Lucy called out still dodging the woman’s wild attacks.
“Oh right” Team Nastu snapped out of it jumping into the battle.
“Requip heavens wheel armor” Erza launched her swords all around the woman to enable her from moving.
“Now Natsu!” She called out to him.
“Fire dragons roar” Nastu breathed at the woman.
Her eyes widened before snapping to Erza’s.
‘You’ve been warned young one’ Erza stared in shock as she heard the woman’s voice within her mind before she disintegrated as Nastu’s attack hit.
Erza stared at the scorched spot where the woman once was. What did she mean?
Erza snapped out of it as the cave opening bustled with life.
She looked around not surprised as the statues they passed by became alive. The missing villagers.
“Well that’s done” Nastu grinned while Lisanna sighed in relief.
“We got our key let’s hope the others get theirs.”
“Lets” Lucy whispered.

“Master, I just got news that team Nastu’s acquired their key” Wendy came into masters office.
“They did” He looked up from his paper work.
“Yes their on their way back now” Levy confirmed.
“Have you found any other information?” Master asked.
Levy seems to hesitate before speaking. “I’m not so sure about this information…..” She trailed off.
“Go on child, any information is crucial to figuring all of this out.” Master encouraged.
“Well… I kept reading and found out in order to free acnologia you need 13 keys” She said while Master furrowed his brow in confusion.
“13, I thought they only needed 12?” Master shook his head. “No matter, what does it say about this 13 key?”
Levy sighed “That’s the point master, I didn’t find anything other than the fact that one of the wizards died in the process when it was created.”
Master shook his head. “So many information” Master sighed turning towards Levy.
“Find out all you can about this thirteen key and how this will affect us.”
“Of course” Levy hurried out.

“Everything is going as planed master Zeref” Daemon kneeled before him.
“Mmm” Zeref hummed. “They are finding too much information however isn’t that right?” Daemon nodded silently as Zeref tilt his head to the side.
“And how is our dear Lucy” A smirk made its way on Zeref’s face as Daemon stiffened.
“She’s doing well sire” Daemon pondered over his words carefully.
“She is isn’t she” Zeref spoke his voice taking a cold turn.
“Lift your head” He commanded and Daemon hesitantly lifted his head revealing his face.
The left side of his face was sporting a black scorching black mark in a handprint that was not healing as it should having to do with the assaulter.
“Now let see if you have heeded my warning, I need no fool getting in the way of my plans, you may be my favorite creation but I can easily find a way to make more of you.” Zeref hissed before taking a breath.
“Be a good little puppy and fetch me the keys won’t you” Zeref smirked as Daemon’s jaw tightened and clenched his fist.
“At least promise” Zeref was surprised when he spoke.
“Promise that you will try and make the outcome different for her”
“Please” He bowed looking down his tone pleading.
Zeref stared at him blankly hiding his inner turmoil.
“I promise”
With that Daemon disappeared in a puff of black smoke.
