CHAPTER 48

JENNIE POV

"Lisa, I'm sorry about what happened yesterday," Pim approached Lisa during breakfast. Suppapong has not been seen this morning.

"You don't need to apologize, Pim, because it's not your fault," Lisa answered.

"But I brought him here. So I also have to apologize to you. I've lectured him. He just says what's on his mind and doesn't mean anything else," she said in a soft voice as she took Lisa's hand.

"I don't know what he told you, Pim. But well, for now, I'll let it be. But I will never forget what he said. And like I said yesterday, Pim, I don't care who he is. I don't care if he's the Prime Minister's son, I mean it," Lisa replied in cold English as he took his hand off Pim and grabbed my waist.

"It's not about me, Pim. But he had to keep in mind not to make trouble and offend the people I love," Lisa continued. "Sorry, but we need to have breakfast because we will be back soon. If you want, you and your friends can stay here longer, I don't mind that."

"Thank you, Lisa. But I think we better move to our previous hotel," Pim said sadly. I know she's a drama queen, especially when dealing with Lisa. But I guess this time she looked really sorry.

"It's up to you. But you will always be welcomed here," Lisa said more politely, and Pim smiled.

After that unpleasant incident, our vacation in Phuket for 3 days 2 nights was a joy. We visited fairly busy bars, cafes, restaurants and visited interesting shopping places. We stayed at one of the Manoban resorts on the edge of a beautiful beach, although not as beautiful as Patok Beach and not private. Sometimes I miss Patok Beach, especially when most of the female visitors there can't take their eyes off of Lisa, and some even seem as they want to jump on him. Lisa also kept glaring at the man who was staring at me with lust. So it can be said that we could not really enjoy our time on the beach in a relaxed and calm manner.

Back in Thailand, our skins are all darker than before.

We again traveled around Bangkok city and several places outside the city to visit many places that turned out to be mostly owned by the Manoban Group. It is not surprising that the Manoban Family is touted as the King and Queen of Thailand economically.

Uncle Marco wasn't in Thailand when we got back. He is in Europe to fulfill an important invitation from a colleague. Since he and Lisa have reappeared, many want to meet them, especially business partners around the world. However, because Lisa is still in college and has not fully worked at their company, he doesn't want to fulfill the invitation. So Uncle Marco did it. He said at least they had to meet once, and after that, Manoban Group representatives returned to continue their company operations in all branches.

The remaining 2 days of our vacation in Thailand will end. The day after tomorrow, we will return to Seoul and will enjoy the remaining 10 days of our semester vacation there.
