When Amethyst went to go check up on Jeriah she didn't imagine that he would be trying to comfort her too, but he tried. Tried says that before he did Amethyst started talking. "I've seen you at your best and possibly your worst that is why I have no issue renouncing my claim to the kingship, by right it is yours, but Father never saw what I see." Jeriah was uncertain and he said, "Granted this may be the grief talking but your help would be much appreciated but I see you may have other plans." Amethyst was not used to Jeriah asking for help, accusing her of things, yes. She smiled and he looked at her like she finally lost it but in a mocking voice she said, You are Jeriah Nãlan of Micralanza, Heir to the vicious lands and soon to be ruler of the bloodlust. Higher than any elder or general with knowledge that surpasses that of Fury, herself. "
He laughed "I knew that if I said it long enough people would start believing it."
All the worry had left his eyes and then it hit him "Wait you're the general and I can't be higher than you. I mean just look at you, you embody perfection itself" Amethyst told him that being General was no longer an interest and she wanted to go and take care of long overdue business. Jeriah didn't have a problem with it but he asked her not to leave yet because the elders called for me when I went looking for Trantress. "Oh, and Amethyst I can't believe you let the elders know that you are leaving before you told me, still hurts that I'm not invited to the party."
"Party? Jeriah if you keep this up, I will have to call a healer."
"Don't pretend now just because I know about your little formal event."
Amethyst just smiled and walked towards her house.
Never in a million years did this soldier ever think that she would be asking a rock for advice, but desperate times called for desperate measures. Amethyst wasn't quite sure whether or not the jewel just talks to her like how she would talk to in Micralanza or if she was just being normal, but the jewel didn't strike Amethyst as a peaceful rock. Maybe it had something thing to do with the type of messages she delivers or maybe it's something she said. " Go in peace if you wish, dont be fooled by the witch. Bring weapons and armour, Combine fury with anger. A fight finished well never leads to a war so cut them down if they stand too tall."
Amethyst started guessing what she meant when she stopped in the middle of her tracks to wonder why she was even playing the guessing game "How about from now on you translate everything you say to terms the average woman sees no need to decipher. " Jewel let out a sigh (keep in mind she does not breathe in or out air) then she said, " Go to the elders prepared for a fight or maybe don't go at all but if you go you have to kill them or anyone who tries to stop you. "
As planned Amethyst got ready to meet up with the elders, she was no longer wearing her armour but instead she was in a fitted dress. Though she was not a fan of dresses she took pride in giving respect where respect is due. Not only did it fit in with modern fashion, she really did not care about that part, but it hid every single weapon she intended to smuggle into the gathering. After getting to the elders, she couldn't help but feel a bit over dressed because the elders were just in their casual robes. Before she could say anything, she picked up the smell of scented candles used before the burying ritual Umshanki. This filled the air with the sweet smell of cinnamon it was said that this would calm mourning relatives.
To say Amethyst was confused would be an understatement Umshanki is the highest burial for a soldier. It is mainly used to put generals or serving members of higher families to rest. Honestly, it's a huge party turn off because all previous generals are either deceased or have been exiled. Umshanki would be unnecessary unless it was for our good old darling Amethyst. When she finally realized that she was dressed for her burial she started rethinking things. "Elders how do you sleep at night knowing what you know and being who you are?" It was quite amusing how they managed to plan her burial and spit on her grave at the same time. They wore casual robes instead of the proper attire, as to say she was not worth the trouble.
"You see my child sleep is very much overrated" elder three said while sharpening the blade of her dagger.
Elder2 stood behind Amethyst and Elder1 stood at the door with a scythe. "By now you must realise that you have come to die. she could feel Elder2 smiling as he said that, but she had no intention of dying like that. A
So, they danced, right foot, left foot and left foot right. Blade against blade, elbow against jawbone and three against one. I would like to say Amethyst was winning but the truth is she didn't prepare for this and she was running out of weapons. She got cut so many times everywhere soon began to sting, and she could barely injure the elders but kept going until there was an opening. There they were dancing to the beat of their hearts when Elder1 fumbles and Amethyst throw the last shuriken she had at his throat. In the beginning there were four, three elders and one soldier. Now there are three, two elders and an injured soldier. As elder1 fell and the other elders rushed over towards him the soldier made a run for it. With no hesitation she ran to where she had her things stashed and snuck past the gates. After getting past the gates, she continued to run but then her vision started getting blurry. The poor girl went from running, to walking, to crawling until she just stopped. Accepting that she may just die from the poison of the blades she decided to look at the night sky one last time...."Wow you actually made it I was beginning to worry I would have to come and get you myself." that was the last thing she remember before seeing nothing but darkness and hearing nothing but silence, absolute silence.
