It's so crowded here, I murmured while scanning the place where Rosalind and I will have our so called 'lunch date' together. It's been a couple of days after the proposal and since then Rosalind had been visiting my house often and today she decided to take me to the city for our date.

Talking about sacrifice, because the distance between her apartment and my house are about one hour drive. I noticed she occasionally massage her own shoulder and arms. Feeling sore on those parts for using her muscles on the steering wheel when she was driving to my house.

I feel pity, yet I never told her to do it. Whether she came often or not, we will still be end up marrying, even if I opposed to the idea.

It's so crowded here, I glanced again as I took the seat on one of the chair Rosalind has reserved for us. We sat by the window, we can clearly see people walking passed us and sometime I also noticed other customers here taking their glances at me.

I'm not often to go out like this, doesn't mean that I don't like it instead I really like a vibe the city gave. It just the idea of meeting so many strangers in one time, especially when I was in the middle of their attention.

"You don't like this place?" Rosalind asked me, even if I tell her truth, she would end up taking me to another place that would be worse than here.

"The place ok." I answered simply

"Welcome ladies, how may I help you?". A female waitress came to us then handed us the menu. I took it and read the contents, mmm I don't know what to eat maybe I should just let Rosalind choose the food.

"Mmm Mmm!"

She suddenly cleared her throat, I looked up and find her glaring at the waitress. The waitress moved awkwardly after turning her face from my side. She must have been eyeing me and Rosalind noticed it.

"Do you have to keep looking?"

"I'm sorry ma'am"

Rosalind must be tried her best to hold her anger that time. So, in a rush, she immediately chose whatever on the menu and when she asked what's on the menu will I take, I told her that I'll take whatever she chose. Which make her a little bit worry for giving me a random choice from her little jealousy.

When the waitress finally gone, we started to wait. Usually, this kind of awkward silence will be the right time to pull out our phone. Yet each of us didn't even bother to think about it.

"I'm sorry about earlier" Rosalind suddenly said referring to her little scene with the waitress.

"You're so illogical.". I commented, she raised her brows waiting for me to continue. "Even if we're going to marry soon, it doesn't mean that I'm your private property, where you cannot allow anybody to trespass. People might see me or talk to me and you cannot stop it from coming. Cause I am a free individual."

"Of course, I never think that you're a property, Ophelia. Never look at you that way. Even after we marry, you don't need to worry about your freedom. If you want to go to university, I'll have you enrolled. If you want to have a job, I'll help you find it. If you want to stay at home and doing your own creative things, I will gladly provide what you need. If you want to hang out with your friends just do it. I'm not going to limit you."

"That's the reason. I don't want you to do so many things for me. It would feel like, I don't have any power to do what I want if you don't permit me to do so. Isn't it just the same as you're the one who decide my own choice?"
