Third person POV
1 month later..
"Are you sure you're okay?". Rosalind studied her wife's face with concern. After a month adjusting their new roles as parents, so many things had changed during that time. Especially with Ophelia. She looked, Rosalind noted, restless. Ophelia was always pale, but now she's even paler than before. Not to mention the dark circle under her once bright eyes .
It could have been because those nightmares, Rosalind thought remembering last night her wife also suddenly woken up from her sleep. Trembling, crying, as if something scared Ophelia to death. She worried so much, being a new mother is overwhelming for some individual sometime and with a person as young as Ophelia, it could also be the case for her.
"I'm okay..". Ophelia chuckled trying to look fine in front of her wife. She rubbed the fabric on her wife's blazer to reassure her. "You should get off to work, don't be late. I know we're getting along with Emilia now, but she's still your business partner."
That's not what really concern Rosalind right now, her wife well being is always be her number one priority but if Ophelia said she's fine, she should believe her. Rosalind smiled softly before pecking her wife's lips. "Just call me if you need anything okay? The nanny will come here shortly too. I'm going now."
Ophelia nodded. "I love you."
"I love you more". Rosalind kissed Ophelia's forehead before taking a glance at the door where their daughter at.
"She's asleep, you'll see her when you got home". Ophelia chuckled, more and more Rosalind showed the side of overprotective mother to everyone. It's cute but sometime it's kind of annoying as if she doesn't want to leave them. Of course Ophelia want Rosalind to be around the whole time, but she needs to work in order to provide for them since Ophelia stopped working at the café nor have any other source of income.
"Bye mommy.."
"Bye momma!"

"Oh what's this ?". Rosalind stared in surprised to see another box of presents laying on her desk. It's been like this for awhile, her employee gave some stuffs for her new born baby. A smile appeared on her lips, feeling grateful to have such caring people around her. Ophelia will like this, she thought taking pictures of the presents then sending it to her wife. She waited for respond, but it never comes. She must be really busy with Brighton right now. Well, Rosalind needs to get busy too with her work from now.
"Here's your schedule for today ma'am.". Rosalind looked up to see Priscilla, her new assistant gave her some papers. The woman is older than her, well almost at the same age with her mother. Since Ophelia dislike her previous assistant, she decided to change them. Rosalind think it's a right decision to avoid any kind of argument between them in the future. Jealous Ophelia is not very pleasant to experience after all.
"I have meeting with Emilia at 10 o'clock.."
"Yes, it's about the new project we have in Singapore."
Rosalind nodded, making a mental note. There is no more awkwardness when she heard Emilia's name, it's so ordinary now. She once again checked on her phone to see if Ophelia has been reply to her text, but again there's none. She then took a glance at the picture of Ophelia and their daughter together, she smiled again automatically after that.
"Ahh.. you missed them already.". Priscilla commented with a glint of amuse on her grey eyes. Rosalind chuckled while rubbing her neck awkwardly, it's true that she missed them eventhough she just saw them awhile ago. "I remember when I got my first child, I too have the same expression of yours. It's like having a new toy, you want to play with them again as soon as you got home. Despite having some countless sleepless nights."
