''Congrats Mickey. Nasa Dean Lister ka na naman!''

Masayang saad ni Adi. I looked at the paper that is posted at the door. Should I be happy that I'm in the dean lister once again?. Nung una naging masaya ako kasi all may hard works payed off, and I will make my family proud. Pero habang tumatagal na realize ko na sana hindi na lang ako naging ganito ka talino kung, hindi man lang naging proud sa akin ang mga magulang ko. Well they were never proud at me in the first place anyway. 

Napatingin ako sa kabilang room na katabi namin kung nasaan si Rejanne at naka tingin doon sa papel na naka dikit sa pinto. I suddenly averted my eyes when I realize I was staring for him for too long. Is he the dean lister of his section?. May isang lalakeng lumapit sa kanya at inakbayan ito.

''Oy bro. Ang talino natin 'a. Ikaw ang nangungunahan sa Dean Lister ng section niyo'' masayang saad nito.

I looked at her and grabbed her paper where her grades written on it. I looked at her, disappointed. Hindi ba sapat yung pag tutor ko sa kanya. Ang baba nun lahat at wala ni isa ang pumasa sa grading system. I looked at her once again. Her face is so full of frustration. I can see that, how difficult it was fo her. I sighed.

I pat his shoulders two times. To comfort her ''Hey, cheer up. I can see that you really did your best. This grade's doesn't prove how smart you are and how smart you can be. You know it's much better to be a street smart person rather than being just smart '' I said and smiled at her genuinely.

Nakita ko naman na kung pano lumiwanag ang mga mata nito. And she then hugged me tightly ''Salamat. Pero wag mo naman sa' akin madalas banggitin yan, kasi dahil doon sa mga sinabi mo parang nakaka inspire tuloy bumagsak'' she said.

I rolled my eyes. Mabilis na tapos yung araw at uwian na rin. Inaya pa ako na sumama ni Adi sa swimming practice nila. Isa pa to sa distruction niya sa pag-aaral 'e. But like I've said earlier you don't need to be so smart. Passing grades will do. Kasi sa pagiging ma diskarte ng isang tao sa buhay ang mahalaga. Hindi na sana ako sasama sa practice nila kasi, I have nothing to do there.

While I was sitting here in the mini bench and reading my book, habang nakasalpak ang earphones ko sa tenga ko. Alam ko sa iba nakaka distract ito, but for me it's not. Music really helps me to calm me down. Plus I can do multi-tasking kasi.

Naramdaman kung may tumabi sa akin, but I'm busy reading my book and busy listening to music. I looked at him from the side of my eye, but I can't really see him clearly. I was shocked when he removed my right earphones and wear it to his left ear. I looked at him.

''R-rejanne?'' halos ma utal na saad ko.

I can feel that he's moving so I opened my eyes. Na bigla naman ako sa pag mulat ko dahil siya agad ang nakita ko ''Ang relaxing naman nung kanta mo'' he said and smiled at me.

I averted my eyes and cleared my throat ''B-bakit ka nandito?'' I asked.

Tumingin ito sa malayo at pinagmasdan ang pool. I heard him chuckled ''Nandito ako para sa practice'' he said and stand up in front of me while his two hands are on his waist ''Ikaw bakit ka nandito?'' he asked and raise a brow.
