''Let's go hinihintay na tayo doon ng Sullivan's'' maawtoridad na wika sa 'amin ni Dad.

I immediately enter the car. I can't imagine that I'm losing now my perfect attendance just to pick up Griffin from the airport!. Kung ako lang sana ang masusunod hindi ko siya susunduin sa Airport, I mean he can go home by his self why pick him up?. But want else can I even do anyway?. Kala ko nga sa susunod na buwan pa siya uuwi e', bakit naman ata parang excited siyang umuwi dito sa Pinas?. While the car is moving my phone suddenly vibrate from my bag so I picked it up immediately to see who messaged me.

From Rejanne:

Hindi ka pumasok ngayon?.

How did he even know that I didn't attend my class?. Pumunta ba siya sa department ko?. But I just stopped thinking and reply to his text.

To Rejanne:

There is just something important that I need to do.

Couple of minutes passed he didn't reply on my text anymore, why kaya?. Maybe he already has his classes already. Hindi rin naman naging matagala yung biyahe at nakarating ka agad kami sa airport. I hope they won't bring that topic again with the marriage thing, because I don't want to talk about it anymore. Habang papasok kami doon sa Airport lahat ng tao ay pinagtitinginan kami. What's new anyway?. Alam naman nilang lahat na presidente ang ama ko.

Agad din naman namin na kita ang kinaroroonan ng Sullivan's so we approached them immediately. I saw Dexter gave me a wink and Kuya too. I just gave him an small smile. He's always like that. I sat next to him, siguro tatanungin ko na rin kung bakit na pa aga ng uwi yung Kuya niya.

''Bakit parang napa aga ata uwi ng Kuya mo?'' I asked.

He look at me before looking away again. He shrugged ''I don't know. Maybe he misses the Philippines so much, or maybe you'' he said and chuckled.

I rolled my eyes. Wag niyang sabihin jan ay boto rin siya para sa kasal naming dalawa ni Griffin ''I don't even care if he misses the Philippines or me'' walang ganang saad ko kaya napa tawa na lang ito bilang tugon.

Kuya came near Dexter so I didn't have a chance anymore to talk to him. Lahat kami napa tayo ng makita namin na naglalakad na papalapit sa 'amin si Griffin. I look at him staright. I examined his whole body. Nothing changed his still the jerk Griffin I new. But I have to say his body looks different now, his body became so mature and manly too. 

All of them greet Griffin except me, so all of them look at me. I sighed. I look at Griffin who was looking at me straight in the eyes. I walk towards him and give him a small smile ''Welcome home, Griffin'' I said.

He smiled back at me too. That's new he never smiled back at me even before. Ano naman kaya ang na kain nito? ''Nice seeing you again, Mj'' he said.

After saying that he walk pass me and enter there car. I scratch my head and frowned. What's with him?. I heard Dexter chuckled so I face him ''That's new'' he said.

Habang hinihintay namin dito ang pagkain namin hindi ko maalis ang mga tingin ko ki Griffin. Siguro dahil pa rin 'yon sa ginawa niya kanina sa 'akin. Parang kasing may mali e', that's not the Griffin I used to know.

I averted my eyes when he suddenly look at me and pick up the menu of this restaurant "So... How are you?" he suddenly said.

Is he talking to me?. But I didn't response because I don't know if his talking to me or not. Ayaw ko naman mag assume no!.

"I'm talking to you, Mickey" he said.

I took a deep breath before putting the menu on the table. I gave him my usual poker face when I'm talking to him. I look at him straight into the eyes "I'm fine" I said briefly.
