•Aditya's POV•

Malhotra Mansion

Driver Kaka parked the car and I went inside to see my mom and dad waiting in our living room. Mom seemed really happy and dad had a smile playing on his lips. I wondered what it is that made my parents so happy. I went towards them and greeted them and they greeted me back. Then I asked "Ok so what is the important thing you want to talk to me about?" Then my mom and dad looked at each other smiling and said "We have found a girl for you to get married to!"

And that is where the bomb dropped.

"Mom what do you mean you want me to get married? I don't even know who she is and what she looks like." I said, I was here to talk about mine and Ayesha's relationship and they want me to get married to someone else. "Beta she is my business partners daughter and I heard she is pretty and well-cultured. Her dad sent a pic of her just an hour before and she is the same girl who saved me from falling off the stairs in the temple this afternoon." dad said. "Mom you explain to hi-" mom didn't let me finish and said "What do you mean? You have to get settled sooner or later and you are coming to the age where you need settle down and start your own family. Also she is a sweet and innocent girl I have also met her and she didn't know who we were and still helped us."

"Please beta at least meet her for the sake of us." mom said while doing her emotional drama. I can't see tears in my mom's eyes so I said "Fine I will meet her tomorrow and if I don't like her you won't force me!" I said looking at them. A big smile formed on both of their lips and dad said "Ok tomorrow afternoon they have invited us to meet their daughter we will go at sharp 1 p.m."

I nodded and was about to go to my room in this house but mom interrupted and said "Also stay the night here and what was the thing you wanted to talk about?" Now how am I supposed to tell her about Ayesha I know they won't agree on me marrying her because she is to modern for them and they are smitten by this girl. "Nothing mom I got help from Sidharth." I lied to mom and it hurts to lie but I can't tell her. She nodded and I started heading towards my room and I went straight to the balcony and called Ayesha making sure the doors are closed.

I called Ayesha and she picked after 5-7 rings, which is surprising because it usually takes her longer.

"Hey babbbyyyyy! I was waiting for your call!" she said from the other side. "Hey babe I got news for you." "I was waiting for it! I'm so excited tell me what your parents said about us." she asked. "Ayesha my parents called me to come and I was going to come anyways so when I got here my parents told me that...." I couldn't complete it. "What baby tell me?" "They said they have found a girl for me to get married to..." I said. "WHAT?!? Baby you told me you will tell them about us but now-" I cut her in the middle saying "Ayesha I didn't know either I found out when I came here and before you ask I couldn't say no because they were really happy and I haven't seen them this happy ever. They are smitten over her. But don't worry tomorrow I am going to go meet her with my family and I will say no to her by finding some mistake of hers that I can prove against her to my parents." "You better say no because you know how much we love each other and I want to be with you!" she said I think crying. "Ayesha don't worry I will say no to her. I have to go now because my mom is making me stay here and they are calling me downstairs for dinner." I explained to her. "Ok bye baby I have to also go see you soon and say no to that girl whoever she is! Love you!" she said quickly. "Bye!" I said cutting the call.

After hanging up I went downstairs before my mom can get mad for getting late. When I went downstairs to the dining room everyone was waiting for me and I sat down. We all started eating when mom said "Adi don't go to work tomorrow, work from home because once you get into work you always get late!" I was about to object but one stern look from her and I nodded my head. Dad started laughing seeing how mom shut me up. I glared at him and then mom said "Oh stop laughing Anil! You should not laugh at your son when the same trick works on you." My dad stopped laughing and started focusing on his food and now it was my turn to laugh. Then mom glared at me and I stopped and then everyone started laughing.
