Hospital

"Mr. Malhotra you're ready to leave now." the doctor said. A few days had past and Adi was still at hospital as he needed to be supervised still. But today we were going home. To our home. "Finally. Sorry but not sorry. Nothing is better then home." Adi dramatically said. "No need to be sorry because that's true." the doctor said. "So have you guys decided on if you're going to take an at home nurse?" "Doctor, I don't think it's needed. I can take care of him perfectly." I quickly said.

Why would someone else take care of Adi when his wife can. He's my husband not some burden. "She definitely can. She knows I'll listen to each and everything of her's." Adi lowly muttered making the doctor chuckle. "I've never seen a cuter couple." he said making me smile. "So Mrs. Malhotra, you'll need to clean his wounds and apply ointment on them every morning. They will heal over the next 2 weeks. And then his arm will come out of his cast in 2-3 weeks. And do not, do not let him apply much pressure to his brain or body. He'll need lots of bed rest. The only thing he's allowed to stand up for is the bathroom or to shower."

"Listen Adi! He's trying to tell you not to work. No laptop, no files, no business calls!" I strictly said. "As you say boss." he said saluting. "Seem's like your wife hates your laptop." "Don't even ask." Adi exaggerated. "This one week he'll need complete bed rest and then the second week he can start getting back to his normal life, except for work. He can start moving around more. But make sure to stay by him when he walks as he can result to fall." I patiently and seriously listened to each and everything the doctor told me. "I've filled out the discharge forms." bhai said, walking in. "Well I guess you can leave now Mr. Malhotra." "Thank you for everything doctor." I said. "It was my duty." he said with a smile and left. Bhai helped Adi sit on the wheelchair. "Can I walk!? I feel like an old man! Ugh!" Adi groaned. "Shut up Adi. I'm not going to let you walk." I said, making bhai laugh. Adi gave a glare to bhai and I started pushing the wheelchair towards the car.

"Goodbye hospital! Hope to never come here again." Adi said as we exited the hospital. Bhai helped Adi sit in the backseat of the car and went towards the driver's seat. I sat next to Adi when bhai said "And what about the birth of your kids? Do you not want to see them when their born!?" "I do. For that I need to do something for the kids to be born." Adi said smirking at me. I turned red and bhai said "You're so disgusting Adi. But don't worry. We'll plan our kids together so they grow up together and become best friends." "We'll plan our kids together my ass. You aren't even married yet. I can't wait that long." Adi said.

"I will be soon. Just wait and watch. In a few months Sia will be my wife." I excitedly got up a bit and leaned towards bhai's seat. "Do you plan on proposing to her!?" He broke out into a smile and nodded. I excitedly hugged him from the back while driving and said "I can't wait!" "You're one of the most important people in my life Maya. You will be at the wedding definitely." "Of course. Where am I going." I said, sitting back and letting him drive. "I'll be even more excited then you. After all it's my brother's wedding." Bhai smiled at me from the mirror and Adi held my hand in his. "I won't let you go anywhere." he said with a smile.

Penthouse

We arrived at our home finally. Together. We wheeled Adi into the house and were greeted by mumma and papa with Sia. "Thank the lord you're back home." mumma said, kissing Adi's forehead. "Mom you're being so dramatic. I'm perfectly fine." Adi groaned. "I'm a mom. I have the right to be dramatic over my son. And seeing their kids happy means a lot to parents. You'll realize that when you both become parents." mumma explained. "Wait, when have you decided to have kids!?" I looked down, not wanting to answer. "You'll find out once you know you're going to be a grandma." I could feel Adi smirking at me. "Make it soon though! I want to become a dadi." mumma said with excitement. "And dada." "I'll be a chachi!" Sia added. "Wow I'm going to be a chachu." bhai said. I just blushed while looking down.
