•Maya's POV•

Penthouse: Maya's Bedroom

I was looking through all my medical books. It was again the weekend. Two weeks had past since things were again back to normal between us, if you call that normal. He would still leave early and arrive late but we would eat dinner together sometimes if he had arrived on time. I can't express how much I'm happy to see our relationship getter better then before. Sometimes I get scared thinking something will happen again but I always try to get rid of that negative feeling.

"Maya beta." I turned around and saw Mary aunty at the door, who was holding a file in her hand. "Yes aunty?" I said, stopping my work. "I didn't want to disturb you but Adi baba had called and asked for a file he had left. I thought why not you take the file for him and take lunch as well. I'm always worried if he ever ate lunch or not." she told. I also think all day long if he had eaten lunch or not. But last time when I went they created a fuss to let me in. And this kahdoos man always forgets his file. "Aunty, I don't know if he'll like that." I said. "Maya, you're his wife. Of course he'll like it. You both can have some personal time to." I really wanted to go so after thinking I nodded. "Great! I'll go make lunch and then I'll pack it for you both." Mary aunty said, turning around to leave. "Actually, could I cook the lunch?" I asked. She smiled and said "Be my guest!" I happily smiled at her and went downstairs.

Malhotra Industries

Drive kaka drove me to Malhotra Industries and I was now standing in front of it. I had cooked some rajma chawal because I remember his face which was full of excitement when I had cooked it once. So by determining his face I thought he liked rajma chawal and it was his favorite. I had cooked it with happiness and a huge smile because I was cooking for him after ages.

I went inside the building and to the reception and to my luck, it was the same receptionist who's name is Sheetal. Maybe she doesn't remember me. "Excuse me." I said. She stopped typing on her computer and looked at me. Her facial expressions changed into dislike. "Well well well. Look who we have here again." Never mind, she remembers me. "Hi. I uh actually need to see Aditya Malhotra." I said, ignoring how she was talking. "Ugh again! You should seriously give up. He isn't interested in you. You're married and still after him." She wasn't wrong about the interested part. And she saw my mangalsutra and sindoor probably and knew that I was married. "Could you please just let me go?" I said. "I don't care. You'll regret when he kicks you out. Just go. 15th floor like last time." she said with ignorance on her face. I muttered a 'thank you' and went on the elevator to the 15th floor.

Malhotra Industries: Aditya's Office

I stood in front of the door labeled 'CEO Aditya Malhotra' once again. I knocked on his door and heard a deep 'come in'. I took that as my cue and opened the door.

I saw him sitting in his chair with another man sitting in the chair in front of him, who's back was facing me. Adi was staring at me shocked, probably because he didn't expect me to be here. I walked over to his desk and placed the file and lunchbox on it. "Mary aunty...told me to bring it." I said. "Maya." I heard a whisper say. I looked over at the person sitting in front of Adi, who I hadn't looked at yet. I froze seeing the guy in front of me. "Vivaan" I said, which came out like a whisper. He got up from his chair and came forward. I was shaking and teared up after seeing him. I was seeing him after 4 years. But he didn't look like a young boy anymore but had turned into a mature man.
