𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂

𝗍𝗐𝖾𝗇𝗍𝗒-𝖾𝗂𝗀𝗁𝗍

•Maya's POV•

A week had passed by since we had been in London. Each day Adi would go out for the work he is here for and come back during the evening time, taking Ayesha out. And unfortunately for him, he had to take me along too. It would always have Ayesha saying something to bring me down and make my head hang.

Hotel

I was going to the hotel inn for breakfast. I had been ordering food through room-service ever since that day. So today I decided to eat here. "Wait!" I turned around and saw Adi walking towards my direction. I looked behind me to check if he was saying that to someone else but didn't find anyone behind me. So he is talking to me. Shouldn't he be at work?

I looked at him questioningly. "Today I have a brunch party with the businessman who I came here for. So you need to come along, as they know you are my wife because they were at our marriage. We'll leave in a hour and half." Our marriage? My wife? I think I'm still asleep and this is a dream. I pinched myself. "Ow." I whispered. Nope it wasn't a dream. Adi is still in front of me and I had just embarrassed myself in front of him. Will Ayesha come? That would be so awkward if he takes both his wife and girlfriend out to meet his business partners. "And, wear something that would look good in front of them and appropriate for brunch." He left afterwards.

Hour and half! I need to go and get ready. It's not like I take a long time to get ready. It's that I don't know what to wear or even have anything to wear which would fit in his description.

Hotel: Maya's Room

I was staring at my suitcase for the past 30 minutes and still didn't know what to wear. Then my eyes layer on the dress Sia had put in my suitcase, secretively. I picked it up and examined it. Should I wear it? Should I not wear it? It does fit in the 'look's good in front of businessman' and 'appropriate for brunch' category's. But what if it doesn't look good on me? 'If you try it, you'll find out!'

I tried it on and it was so beautiful. It was a light pink knee-length sundress, with off-shoulder butterfly sleeves. I had never worn such a short dress. I have nothing to wear so I have to get out of my comfort zone and wear this. I put half of my hair in a clip and let the rest down. The part of getting ready didn't take much time. But the time to find an outfit took the most time.

I was putting on some jewelry and then I heard a knock and immediately knew it was Adi. I opened the door and saw him ready in blue formal shirt. He looked hot, very hot. That's not something new, he looks hot 24/7. 'Maya, are you even innocent anymore?' "Are you ready?" he asked. I nodded. "Let's go." I locked my door and followed him to the car. Where is Ayesha? I still haven't seen her. Which means she isn't coming? Excitement filled inside me just thinking about that.

Restaurant

We walked inside a big restaurant. It wasn't like a normal restaurant. It was a modern royalty type restaurant.

I followed Adi towards two couples. One of them looked like as if they were in their late 30s, who looked Indian. While the other looked like as if they were in their mid 40s, who looked British by judging the people in London. These must be his business partners he is here for. Adi shook his hand with everyone of them, and I followed his lead by also doing so. Adi introduced me to all of them and we sat down.
