It was just another lovely day for our merc.
Kicking corpo ass and trying not to flatline.

*V POV*
I got done with a gig and was finally on my way home.
It's been a tiring day. I can't wait to crash. I should give Judy a call.
I pulled up her contact and hit call.

She answered immediately.
"Hey V! I was just thinking about ya and before you ask, no you weren't wearing clothes."
"Hey judes! I'm finished with gigs today. Wanna maybe come hang at my pad?"
"Actually I'm already here. I have a surprise for you."
I raised my eyebrows, "what kind of surprise?"
"You'll have to find out! Bye V!"
"Wait ju-"
Shit she hung up.
I sped home and made my way to my apartment.
I opened my door and saw Judy bent down by my bed.
"Ok what the hell is this surprise?"
I heard Judy laugh before shoving something in my arms.
Something that moves. And breathes.
It took my brain a second to register what the fuck was in my arms.
A FUCKING CAT.
I screamed and threw the cat. The cat screeched as it flew.
"WHY WOULD YOU BRING THAT EVIL CREATURE IN MY PLACE?!"
I tried to distance myself as far away from the cat as possible. I stepped onto the couch as the creature walked toward me.

'Are you seriously scared of a little cat..... I thought you were this bad ass merc but you're just a pussy. This is actually quite hilarious.'
'Fuck off Johnny cats are fucking terrifying. The little bitches scratch you with their claws and bite you with their sharp ass teeth. Fucking monsters.'
I saw Johnny in the corner of my room laughing his ass off.
"V chill it's just a cat."
Judy picked up the Cat.
"Um no it's a demon from hell. I can't have that in my house. Put it back wherever you found it."
Judy scoffed.
"So not happening V. This little dude just needs a home and a family to love him. I already named him. His name is nibbles and he's gonna be apart of our family."

'How can you turn your output down when she already named the fucking cat? Don't be a prick V. It's just a harmless cat.'
I flipped Johnny off as he started laughing again.
"We are not keeping it Judy. My Pad my rules." I sat properly on the couch.
"We are keeping him V. And that's final." The look Judy was giving me was enough to make me shit my fucking pants. Judy always talked about how she loved animals. And she will most likely hate me forever if I send this shithead away.

"Fine we can keep it BUT your taking care of it. And if I gets anywhere near me I'm fucking drop kicking it across the fucking building."
"OH MY GOD YAY!" Judy ran over to me and hugged me purposely dropping the cat In my lap.
