Pyramid song (extended)

All I gotta say is if you don't romance Judy you are a monster. The whole pyramid song mission was just amazing.
I literally started a new game just so I could replay this mission just so I could get everything close to perfect, also with adding a few extra things. This has been sitting in my drafts for a week and a half.
I did all this on my phone bc My computer is a piece of shit and now my hand is cramping. Also I will not write the sex scene, y'all know what happens.

I was on my way to see Judy after getting a call saying she has a gig. A date? I really like her so hopefully it's a date. I get to the location she sent me too and I se ever on the hood of her car in a wetsuit.
"Hey, V." Judy smiled. I sat beside her and said, "After all that went down thought you and I'd be ancient history."
Judy laughed, "Don't be a gonk..."
"Any news from the Moxes? Events, ideas?"
"Dunno. Don't see all that much of 'em." She shrugged.
"How come?"
"You know how they are. Piss me off sometimes, is all."
"So what's the latest from Clouds? Know anything?" I wanted to make sure everyone besides Maiko was ok. She is crazy.
"Nothin' of any interest. Got a new situation, an' everybody's tryin' to adapt. Me too." She seemed down.
"Doesn't sound like it's all OK..." I put my hand on top of hers. She didn't pull away.
"Doesn't mean it isn't." She squeezed my hand.
"Somethin' got you down all of the sudden?"
"Um... no." She is a terrible liar.
"Judy..."
"Can we please not talk about Clouds, the Mox, or Arasaka and Militech and how the world's goin' to shit? Just... rather not think about any of that today, anything dark."
Ok subject change, V...
"So... ready to tell me what we're doing here?" Judy got up and walked over to where she had her laptop placed.

"Well, been tinkerin' with virtus a lot lately and figured out a way to scroll two actors' experiences at the same time. Thought we could try it out. If you're down, of course."
"How does one marry two separate neural tracks?" I looked at her in admiration.
"Well, at first I tried to create a single profile out of two data streams. Didn't turn out so great." Judy made a face.
"Must've gotten tangled up - interference, white noise..."
"Yeah, effect was kinda like a bad arthouse. Couple tries in, though, managed to isolate specific sensations." She laughed.
"So you load 'em onto separate neural tracks - no emo bogeys. Not bad. What do I gotta do?"
"You, my friend, are just gonna scroll me a virtu." She turned towards me.
"That's it?" I made a confused face.
"Now, now, let's not get ahead of ourselves. This could be my greatest work - ever." Judy gave me a big smile.
"Sounds like we could do this anywhere. Why did we come all the way out here? What is this place?" I gestured to the land around us.
"Cottage belonged to someone I knew, sits empty now. I take the liberty to use it from time to time."
"And that's where we're gonna scroll?" I was kinda excited.
"No, we're gonna scroll under water." My smile got bigger.
Johnny appeared and gave me a look, "Nope. No way. Bad idea. Tell 'er to find some other yes-woman."
"Whaddaya say? You in?" Judy looked excited. I can't burst her happiness.
"Why would you say that?" I thought to johnny.
"I dunno. Don't like the idea, that's all. It's just... when I think about the dark, the deep... palms that I don't fuckin' have get clammy with sweat." Johnny just shrugged.
"You're more'n welcome to stay on shore, johnny."
"Hell yeah, I'm in!" Judy smiled and grabbed my hand and brought me over to a box.
"Awesome! So, uh... let's go! Got the hardware here. All right... suit up, landlubber. Let's get this scroller on ya." I started to change and I feel eyes on me. I looked over at judy to see her staring at me.
"Look pretty damn fine in that wetsuit." I smirked at her.
"Well you look even better, sweet cheeks." Judy smirked back.
"Water's toxic. That not a problem?"
"Whole reason we're suitin' up."
"Haven't even asked me if I know how to swim. Not worried I'll just sink to the bottom like a bag of rocks?" I joked.
"Eh, fifty-fifty chance, I guess. Willin' to risk it for the footage." Judy shrugged playfully.
"All right, let's do this. Freezin'-ass water - here I come!"
"OK! We're all set. You go first."
I jumped into the water, judy following shortly behind me.
