A girl with short brown hair, and blue bell eyes was spotted sitting at a desk.

"Oh, just great." Atem mumbled. Yugi looked towards him, still bewildered.

"What? You know her or something?" Yugi questioned, looking back towards the girl.

"Oh do I know her." Atem whined, staring at the back of her head.

"Why don't you talk to her? Isn't she like your girlfriend or something?" Yugi added on still dazed. Atem looked back down at him like he was an alien.

"HELL no!? She-" Atem ranted before he was interrupted.

"Take your seats, please!" Mr.Derratt demanded. Everyone scrambled back to their desks like a bunch of animals.

"Before we start, I'd like to announce something. As you all know, we have another new student joining us this year! Please give a warm welcome to... Téa Gardner!" He cheered with excitement. The class clapped for her and so did Mr. Derrett. The girl, Téa, looked back at Atem, all flirty and twirled her hair. She even winked at him. Atem eye rolled her in disgust.

Yugi looked at her still with confusion. Yugi then looked back at Atem. He looked beyond annoyed then Yugi could ever imagine. He sighed and let the class continue.

~After Class~

As soon as the bell rang, Téa marched right over to Atem and put on a fake smile and giggle.

"So, Atem~ It's been awhile! Who's the twerp?" Téa twirled her hair again and grinned at Yugi. Yugi gulped with a nervous look on his face.

"The 'twerp' is Yugi. He's my friend. No need of calling him that." Atem gritted his teeth as if trying to hold back the urge to snap at her. Yugi looked down smiling.

"Uh-huh... Anyways! Did you hear Joey is holding a party at his house? We should like- totally go!" She exclaimed, chewing her gum with her teeth as loud as possible.

"Yeah, he told me. But I'm not going. Especially with you."

"Oh, Atem! Don't be like that! You know you want to go!"

"....."

Atem was silent. Knowing it was true. He did want to go. He wanted to go with someone. But not with Téa for sure.

"If I wanted to go with you. Wouldn't I have already asked you?" He rolled his eyes again, like they were gonna stretch to the back of his head. Téa however, did not look pleased.

"Yeah, whatever! I have others to go with anyways!" She huffed with a very prissy voice. Atem was quite surprised she let go that easily. It was almost suspicious.

"Sure." He sighed. He looked back at Yugi.

"What class do you have?" He politely asked him.

"Oh, erm... English." He brushed his golden bangs out of his face.

"Same! We should walk together!" She offered.

"T-That would be lovely..." He lightly smiled at the girl. Atem face palmed.

"I have History. So I'll see you guys at Lunch, okay?" He planned, trying to hide his anger.

"Y-Yeah, sure." Yugi stuttered.

"Mhm!" Téa grinned.
