Yugi's clutches clicked as they hit the school floors. Almost everyone eyed Yugi to see who it was.

"Who is that?" A girl whispered to her friend.

"I don't know. But what's a nobody like him doing with Atem Sennen?" The other girl gagged.

"D-Don't you think these clutches are a bit much, Atem...?" Yugi blushed, looking at his own feet.

"What are you talking about? I'm just being a good friend." Atem stated, walking by his side.

"Y-Yeah, but... I don't need these."

"Just in case." Atem chuckled.

Suddenly, a group of popular boys scrounged towards Atem like wild animals.

"Hey! Atem, ready for the game tonight?"

"Have you seen the new cheerleaders lately? They're hot."

"Hair crazy as always, Sennen."

"You still have my jacket, right?"

"Mrs. William is a bitch."

Atem looked to his side while the jocks were blabbing on. He noticed Yugi had suddenly disappeared, leaving his clutches behind.

"Uh, I'll catch you guys later." Atem waved as he sped off to his first class.

"There he goes, chasing someone who's obviously into him."

"Who knows, maybe he's gay!" One guy started to cackle. Soon, the whole group started to join in.

"Yugi! Why'd you run off like that?" Atem sighed, heading into the science room.

"S-Sorry, I don't like hanging around p-people if you couldn't tell..." Yugi said.

"You're gonna have to get used to it, you know."

"That's what I'm worried about."

Suddenly, Téa started heading her way towards them.

"What do you want, Téa?" Atem rolled his eyes in a snarky way.

"Hi, I just wanted to say... I'm sorry for the way I treated you guys the way I did. And I'm especially sorry to Yugi. You didn't deserve that. I always wanted to play 'mean girl' and thought it was cool. Turns out it wasn't..." Téa admitted with a disappointed look.

"I-It's fine..." Yugi smiled.

"Really?" Téa and Atem spoke at the exact same time.

"Really." Yugi laughed.

"Wow! Thanks, Yugi! I hope we can be friends again!" She quickly pulled into a hug.

"N-No problem..." He muttered, hugging back. Atem, however, did not look approving.

"How can we trust you...?" He squinted his eyes.

"Because I was at that party, if you remember. I was one of the surviving victims who escaped. I even tried talking to you guys but you ignored me. I wanted to say sorry for all I've done."

"Ugh... Fine!" Atem huffed.

"Aw, thank you guys!!" She exclaimed, pulling them both into a group hug.

"Alright, Class! Sorry I'm late, I had to run down and get something for today." The teacher announced, coming through the doorway with humongous bags.

"Well, I'll talk to you guys after class." Téa winked before scrounging back to her seat.

"C'mon," Atem grabbed Yugi's hand.
