The sun rose from behind the hills and spread its morning glow on everything that it could find in its path. The birds woke up chirping, enjoying the good weather and the shower of the previous night, the dew still lingering and the atmosphere feeling light.

The Honours were on either side of the farmhouse, getting their brides ready. They took care of the smallest things and went over all their efforts of the past few weeks to make sure that they were in order, but tried to ignore the other because they didn't want an awkward moment, especially with the wedding ceremony in their hands. Ben got dressed into his suit and Robin got dressed into her burgundy dress. He pinned a flower to his chest while she wore a thin gold necklace. They let out a sigh when they saw themselves in the mirror in the brides' room.

The brides could not wait to get married. They were forever grateful to their friends for getting everything ready in such a fairytale manner. They were sure that they would never have had such a beautiful and memorable wedding if it wasn't for them. Seeing the train of theor wedding dresses ready, they hurried to opposite sides of the farmhouse because they were going to walk to the altar at the same time, and were careful not to see each other until the time came.

The time to meet had finally come. Ben and Robin faced each other because they were going to be the first one on the altar. They couldn't postpone their meeting any longer. They had slipped out of their room and made their way to their manager's room that morning. But looking at the other, they knew that they hadn't done anything wrong.

"Hey." Ben said.

"Hey!"

"So are you ready to walk down the aisle?"

"I hope I don't trip. All the attention is going to be scary enough."

He nodded. "You look really beautiful." He didn't want any awkward silence to fill them. They had never had that before and having that then would ruin everything.

"Thank you." She smiled. "You look great as well. Mr. Tanaka has done a brilliant job."

The orchestra choir started to play their music, saving the two of them from any more conversation. Robin held the flower bouquet firmly in her hand and took a deep breath. Ben held his arm out for her to take and the two of them walked down the aisle. All they were concentrating on was the other's presence. The rest of the world didn't seem to matter. The flashes of the cameras and the acute eye of the videographer was alien. They reached the altar and stood on opposite sides, still trying to avoid eye contact.

The wedding march started to play and the brides made their way down the aisle from opposite sides. The flashes increased and everyone stood up to see them. Karen and Paige looked absolutely gorgeous. They were meant to be.

"I do."

"I do."

Everyone broke into an applause, extremely happy to see a union in holy matrimony. Robin and Ben were in tears as they hugged their friends after the sealing of their relationship. When it was their turn to hug each other, they were hesitant for a moment but the happiness of the moment made them ignore it. The brides ran down the aisle as per tradition and had their first dance together on the dance floor. The choir did an exceptional job with their music because it was the place to be present at. It was better than being surrounded by speakers, because the sound of the troupe and the sound of nature matched harmoniously with each other.

The Honours were asked to give their speeches for being the Best Man and the Maid of Honour. Ben talked about how he had known Karen all his life and how she couldn't find anyone better than Paige because they were meant to be with each other. "I have never seen her look so content with life and my only wish is that you continue to glow like this."

When it was Robin's turn, she was a little tense at first because her speech was simple and people knew her as the writer. She talked about how she has never seen Paige so happy before and how she used to pray for her to find 'the one' in her life to prove her wrong. "And Karen? Thank you for letting me prove that there is always someone for someone in this world, because you both are going to be the benchmark in the couples' category. To Karen and Paige!"

Ben's head shot up when Robin said that there was someone that was meant to be with someone else. He had been hoping to talk to her but he was giving her her space. In a way, he was taking the space as well. He didn't know what she was thinking and didn't want to invade her privacy. She hadn't looked at him the entire night. He had definitely made the wrong move.

Or so he thought.

"Hey." Ben looked to his side and saw Robin's gleaming eyes. Night had fallen and they were standing near the trees while watching couples dance on the dance floor. He noticed how the lights all around brought out her eyes. "Do you want to dance?" She asked, beckoning to the dance floor.

Relief surged through his veins. "I would love to."

He took her hand in his and led to the floor where they had their first dance after the previous night. "I'm sorry-" They spoke at the same time and smirked.

"You go." He said.

"Alright." He spun her around for the rhythm of the music and they continued to waltz. "I have something important to tell you tomorrow." That was so not what he was expecting but it was better than that negativity that he was imagining. "It may come as a shock and a very sudden news, but I don't want to ruin this night by talking about it."

"Is everything okay?" He asked, instinctively.

She smiled softly while looking at the floor. "I hope so." She looked up at him and shrugged. "How about we just enjoy this night for some time? I really don't want to think about tomorrow."

"I hope it's not something that is as bad as what I'm imagining it to be."

"Uh...." She wondered. "I don't think it is. But it is a bit shocking and very at-the-last-moment."

He spun her around once again and caught her while pulling her in. They were very close to each other and all they could think about was how they had kissed the previous night. The music stopped, bringing them back to reality. They let each other go very quickly, not wanting to do so at the same time.

The next day was going to change their lives in a million ways.
