I bond together the gold of Eret's crown, sparks flying as I meld it. As I finish, I dip the crown into freezing cold water, resulting in a hiss. I take it out, drying it. I walk out of the small room in the tower, looking out in the soft sunlight.
The gems glitter, and the gold has a soft sheenin the morning light. I close the door behind me, calling out for Eret. To my right I hear a voice call out, "I'm over here Y/N!" I trot in the direction of Eret's voice, looking for the man.
I come to the second pillar, a little ways away. I look around the corner and see Eret jumping down, his cape trailing. "Hello," I gently say, stepping forward. "Hey. What is it that you wanted to tell me?" "Well first off, here's your crown," I place the golden object on his head, "and secondly, we should probably go get our things from L'Manburg."
I see Eret's eyebrows raise at the latter, most likely from surprise. "Oh my goodness, I completely blanked on that. C'mon, let's get going," he grabs my arm and drags me behind him, moving at a swift pace.
As we move through the Community House, I notice Badboyhalo, the guy from earlier. I wave to him, getting a smile paired with a wave back before being pulled out the door. I continue to stumble behind Eret, starting to properly adapt to his speed. (That sentence sounds like something from a smut I-)
I stumble up the stairs, being saved from falling more than once by the strength of Eret's arm. "Why don't you just pick me up?" I huff out, almost falling again. "Sure," I hear Eret say, and he stops.
I stand facing him, and he picks me up, bridal style. He finishes climbing up the numerous stairs, and then takes a left. As we pass Tommy's house, I press into Eret slightly more. Then we descend— quite fast, too.
We reach the bottom of the stairs, and my feet touch the ground once again. I straighten up, holding up my head. I stride into L'Manburg, Eret walking at my side. I walk to my old bedroom, knocking just in case before I go in.
To my surprise, I hear a quiet girl say, "Hello? Come in." I step into the room, and there's a pink haired girl, sitting calmly on the bed, sewing up my old uniforms. "Uh, hi. I just came to get my stuff, I'll be gone in a few minutes."
She answers quietly, "Okay. I'm Niki, what's your name?" I begin to take my armour off it's stand and deposit it into my enderchest as I answer, "I'm Y/N. It's nice to meet you Niki." I reach to grab the crown, perched where there would be a helmet on the armour stand.
I take the thorny object, and place it lightly onto my head. "Niki, do you think this would look better with the tips of the thorns dipped in gold, iron or nothing?" I ask, looking to the girl for an answer.
"I think it would look very pretty dipped in iron, the silver would compliment your hair very nicely," she answers, smiling at me. "Thank you, I wasn't sure."
The two of us work in silence, me placing my old items— other than my old uniforms— in the enderchest, and Niki repairing the uniforms for herself. We occasionally talk, learning about each other. "Hey Niki?" I ask.
"Yes Y/N?" she looks up from her sewing. "Wanna use stupid pick-up lines on each other?" "Of course! Is that even a question?" We both giggle, pausing all work at the time.
"Ok, ok," I say as I regain composure, "who goes first?" Niki thinks for a few seconds before deciding, "You. I still need to think." "Alright. Ready for this dazzling line? I mean, it won't be as dazzling as our date but it's something all right," I say, smirking at her.
"Ooo, that was good! Y/N, have you ever counted all the stars? I think they're infinite, and that makes them a great representation of my love for you," she tries, maintaining an innocent look.
"Oh my god that was adorable. Are you the sun? Because I need you to survive, quite literally." "What was that one?! It was just so out of nowhere Y/N. Just like my sudden yearning for you," she whips out a line, and I gasp.
"What the hell! How- why- heh?" I lose myself in laughter, mingled with confusion. "Dude you're awesome, can we, like, be friends? Even though I kinda betrayed this entire country and am seen as the bad guy? Because I literally have no other friends that are girls in the SMP. Like, I think Wilbur would understand that because you'd probab-" Niki cuts me off, "Yes Y/N. We are friends. Even though you're technically my biggest enemy, I wasn't here for when you betrayed, in fact, I came yesterday, so it's fine."
We both smile (BIG POG FOR NIKI!), and as she breaks into a tiny giggle, I hear Eret shout that it's time to go. "Awww. Nikiiiiiiiiiii," I whine, dragging out the I in her name. Niki pulls me into a hug, and of course I return it.
"I'll leave my enderchest for you, a reminder of your favourite friend," I say, my tone teasing at the last two words. "Thank you bestie!" Niki replies, returning the same tone. I begin to leave, waving as I exit the small room.
I run over to Eret, avoiding the eyes of everyone in L'Manburg. As we leave through the wall I hear Niki call out, "Bye Y/N! I'll miss you!"
"She's so wonderful I can't take it," I whisper in an excited tone, holding onto Eret. He laughs, smiling down at me as we ascend the stairs. "I like the crown, Y/N," Eret notices, putting his arm over my shoulder. "Thank you," I respond, leaning into his side as I speak.
"I'm going to dip some of the thorn tips into iron to make it silver," I notify the man. "Hmm, that'll look pretty," Eret responds, saying something else very quietly under his breath.
"Huh? What was that? I didn't quite catch you there," I ask as I look up. "Oh, it was nothing, Y/N."
Should I do a Techno x Reader when I'm done with this? It'll be a little bit before I finish this but I kinda want to :]
