Chapter Twenty Two

"Ava wake up" I felt someone shaking me "Alejandro here"
Once I heard that I jumped up
"Where" I asked
"His down stairs with Nik and Lijah" kol pointed down stairs
I ran I didn't care how I looked and I saw him standing in the kitchen. I ran up and hugged him
"Alejandro" that's all that come out of my mouth
We stood there for about five minutes hugging each other in silence when klaus walked in
"You really are back" we broke the hug "I'm glad you came back at the perfect time" he smirked
I was confused I looked at ale and he put his head down and kol and Elijah walked in with some girl. She looked pregnant so I'm guessing that's the wolf
"What do you mean nik" I looked back at him
"Well you see everyone is trying to kill the baby" he pointed to the girl "and we need help"
"No" kol walked in front of me "she just got back she's not going to be put in danger" kol blocked klaus view of seeing me
"I need a witch on my side who powerful" klaus walked up to kol
"If she helps you she'll just end up dead again" kol growled
Klaus looked over kol shoulder over to me "you won't die Avaree just help defeat the enemy"
"Why don't you just leave New Orleans" I asked
"When do I ever back down" he smirked
"Find another witch Nik because she's not helping" kol pushed klaus
"Klaus they don't need to help if they don't want to" the girl spoke looking at klaus
"Help your family Kol stand with us" klaus walked up to kol again
"Oh now I'm family after how many years of trying" he scoffed
"Fine then" klaus looked at me " this is basically your niece so help us"
When I was on the other side klaus didn't want the baby I remember watching him tell the girl kill the baby but now his trying to save it. his changing again.
"Okay" I whispered but I'm positive they heard
Kol turned to me and grabbed my face
"No ava it's to dangerous you could die if your on there side" I put my hands to his
"Kol I'm going to be okay I'll stay by there side the whole time" I tried to comfort him
"No" he dropped his hands "your going to stay by my side" he hugged me
"Perfect the whole family's in now let's get going" klaus walked in between me and Kol breaking our hug up
"I have to talk to Damon" klaus groaned "I have to tell him I'm leaving"
I felt bad I'm leaving after I just told him I'm not going to leave

I was in the Salvatore living room waiting for Damon or Stefan to arrive. I got here about 30 minutes ago but no one was here so I decided to wait
"Stefan" I heard someone yell from the door
I turned around and saw Caroline
"there not here" I walked up to her
She frowned her eyebrows "do you know where they went"
"No ive been waiting for them to get back" she nodded and left
My phone started ringing I looked it was Klaus
"Hello" I answered
"Ava we have to leave now" he said
"Wait I haven't talk to them yet" I said
"We'll hurry because we have to leave before it gets dark so by the time we get there no one will see us" he hung up
I tried to call Damon again but he didn't answer. I groaned and tried again
"Ava not a good time" Damon finally answered
"Damon it's important" I said
"Okay what" he growled
"I have to leave to New Orleans with klaus and them" I said fast
"no no no" I rolled my eyes "why"
"He needs my help out there Damon-" he cut me off
"Don't leave I'm driving back to mystic fall now"
He hung up"I won't be here Damon when you come back" I closed my eyes
I left a note on there nightstand and left

We were on the ride to New Orleans me, kol, ale, Ellie and Rebekah in Kols car and the rest in Klaus car
"How did Damon take it" kol asked
"He wasn't there" I turned to the window because I felt guilty I just left

Damon's POV
Me and Stefan were driving back to Mystic Falls after Ava called and said she had to leave to New Orleans.
We reached the house and I ran in
"AVAREE" I yelled looking for her
I walked into the living and saw a note
"If your reading this I'm already in New Orleans. Damon and Stefan I have to help klaus. He needs me. I tried to come and explain but you guys weren't here. I'm sorry I know I said I wouldn't leave but I had to I hope you can understand. I'll come back after everything is done. So please stay out of trouble I'll be back before you know it. Love Avaree"

I dropped the letter and ran to my car. I reached the Mikaelsons house and ran inside no one was here it was dark. I grabbed the closest thing to me and threw it.
Every time we're on good terms something comes between us.

Avaree POV
We pulled up to the house will be staying at. It was 1 or 2 in the morning, we were all exhausted and tired.
"So where our rooms" Rebekah asked dropping her bag
"Ugh sister just pick one" klaus groaned and walked away
Everyone went to a room, kol took our stuff in our room I was about to walk to the room but Elijah stopped me
"I'm glad your back Miss Avaree" he hugged me "we all missed you" he kissed my head and walked away
I smiled and walking to the room were I saw kol putting Ellie in her crib we brought
"Good night littlest darling" he kissed her head and laid down next to me
"Good night darling" he wrapped his arms around me and we went to sleep
