Chapter Six

Since Damon and them have the white oak stakes Elijah said that it will be a great idea if I don't talk to them or see them. I get it there trying to kill us but Damon and Stefan are like my big brothers so it was hard to not answer the door when they would come. Lately the Mikaelsons been coming over and hanging out with me and not just Bekah and Kol it was Elijah and Nik too.

"Hello is anyone home" I heard from downstairs, I got up and grabbed the bat and slowly made my way down and hid by the wall.
Someone put there hand around my mouth from behind and came close to my ear
"Your dead" I knew that voice I turn around and see kol with a smirk on his face
Lately me and kol have been getting closer and I like it I haven't felt this was in a while
"Not funny" I pushed him and walked into the kitchen
"It kinda was love" I heard from behind kol and I see nik walking in with Ellie in his hands
"So what are we doing today" I asked, nik put Ellie in her crib and looked at me
"We're going to the grill. Thought we should get out of this hell hole you call home" nik said making me roll my eyes
"Where's Bekah and Elijah" I asked because usually it's Bekah that try's to get me out of the house
"They have plans today so it's just us darling" kol smirked
"Fine" I walked to go get ready and get ale

We were at the grill playing pool. I'm pretty sure this is the most fun ale had in forever and I'm happy
"I'm going to get us more drinks" I said and walking away

Kols POV
"I'm going to get us more drinks" Ava walked away and we just nodded
I was watching her well nik and ale were talking and I saw someone walk up to her
I turned to ale "who's that" I signaled them towards Ava
"Oh that's Tyler Lockwood his a dick" ale looked disgusted
"Why you don't like him" nik chuckled being amused that ale hates him
"I hate the dude his always all over Ava trying to get with her and she doesn't do anything because she to nice" he replied making nik stopped chuckling and look towards them
"And by all over you mean touching her how" nik questioned
Before ale could answer I marched over to them because I saw him grab her waste
"Are you okay love" I asked looking at Ava
"Umm yea" she looked uncomfortable
I turned to Tyler "Kol Mikaelson" I announced staring at him
"Tyler" he raised his hand signaling me to shake it but i ignored it
"so here's the thing bud your going to leave my girlfriend alone never talk to her again never come near her we clear" I growled " you're lucky you're her friend or you'll be dead" I finished
His eyes were wide and he just backed away from us. I turned back to Ava and smiled.
"You didn't have to do that but thank you" she smiled and grabbed the drink and we started walking back to the pool table
"I had to darling" I smirked
We put the drinks down and we didn't see nik with ale or Ellie
"Where's nik" I asked looking around
Ale took his soda "he said he had to talk to a friend" after he said that i knew klaus was not just talking to a friend
I walked outside to see if nik was out there and just as I expected he was
"If I see you look at her I'll rip your heart out myself" I heard nik say, he had his hand in Tyler's chest and let go of it and punch him one more time and he say me
"My way is better" he smirked at me, I just nodded and we went back inside and continued with our night

Ava POV
I woke up to nik and Elijah in my room just talking among themselves
"What are you guys doing here" I asked sitting up
"It's a full moon tomorrow so we continue with the plan tomorrow night" Elijah said looking at me "and we came to make sure you have everything ready" he finished
I totally forgot about tomorrow night, so after we figured out Damon has more white oak stakes nik wants to go get them but Elijah had to keep reminding him that we're linked and could be killed easily since I'm human so we thought of a protection spell that will keep us from getting harmed but that would take a lot of power for five people and I could die Bekah warned but nik said if I channel energy from a full moon it should be enough power and I'll be fine
"Yea I have everything" I got up and grabbed Ellie and made my way downstairs with them following me
"Okay just checking we'll we have to get vervain from a friend we'll see you tomorrow" Elijah said and they left
"I didn't get to say hi" I heard from behind me, I turned and I saw ale
"We'll see them later" I laughed
I was glad ale was getting along with them I know he hated them at first but we all did.

Kols POV
I walked into my house. No one is home I thought
"Where were you all night" I turned to the living room and saw Rebekah staring at me
"I was grabbing a bite" I chuckled walking away from her
"All night kol, your going to get us killed" she yelled following me
I just kept walking away from her "you should help Ava with the spell she could kill us if she doesn't do it right" I stopped and turned to her
"Well then you should go help her" I said "have her unlink us if you don't have faith in her" I finish
"I thought you would care if she died" she replied
"I could careless if she died" I stated
"What" she questioned "but I thought-"
I interrupted her "you thought I cared about her" I asked
I laughed and walked away
"She should unlink you so will be able to dagger you" I turned around and ran to her pinning her to the wall
"Then I'll just have to fix that" she looked confused as I said that but I have a plan

Ava POV
It was the night we had to get the stakes. Bekah, nik and Elijah were here all day making sure I was ready. I kept asking where kol was but bekah said don't worry about him; what does that mean. We're sitting in the living room waiting for the moon to reach it's apex
"I think you should practice the spell on one of us" bekah said
Nik rolled his eyes at his sister "she can't on one of us because then it will be all of us" he stated
"Try on me" we all turned to ale "just try on me and I'll prick my hand to see"
They all just looked at me and I turned to him grabbing his hands and started chanting. My bracelet started glowing a dark red
"Okay prick him now" I said
I looked at Elijah and he took the knife trying to cut ale but nothing happened everyone had relief on their face
"Well let's get going shall we" Elijah said reaching for my hand

Damon's POV
Me, Stefan, Elena and Caroline were sitting in the living room waiting for Bonnie to arrive. We were going to kill Kol tonight after last night when Tyler came and told me that kol and Ava were dating I just needed him died
"Where's Bonnie we need to kill him tonight" I said pacing back and forth
"She said she's coming" Elena came up to me "so just relax Ava is fine" she's trying to calm me down but how I'm I supposed to be calm when my best friend who's like a sister is dating a psychopath. We heard a knock on the door
"Finally" I was going to go answer but Stefan beat me to it
We just heard a bit thump so we walked to the door and saw Stefan on the ground
"Omg Stefan" Elena ran to Stefan
I looked outside and I didn't see anyone so I closed the door but as I turn around I see Klaus, Rebekah and Elijah in my living room
"where the stakes" klaus smirked
"I don't know what your talking about" I said acting clueless
Caroline was standing next to me and Elena was helping Stefan up
"Fair enough the hard way it is" klaus ran up to me throwing me at the wall
I got up running to him trying to hit him but my fist just went around him
"What the heck" I got back up trying to hit him again but nothing happened
He just laughed "so about the stakes" he turned to Rebekah "or I'll have Rebekah kill Elena" as soon as he said that Rebekah ran over to Elena grabbed her from the back about to snap her neck
Caroline was about to run to them but Elijah snapped her neck
This isn't a fight I could win I can't even hit him and Elena was going to die so I walked over to the fire place and grabbed the stake and dagger
"I only have one you took our other one" I handed them to him
" no Damon" Elena yelled
"Fair enough mate" that's all he said and ran to me snd it went dark

Ava POV
I was in the car still chanting louder and louder I didn't know how much longer I could hold the spell up for. I looked up and I saw them walking out of the house so I stopped the spell I was so exhausted.
As soon as they got into the car nik handed me the stake
"What do you want me to do with it nik" I asked confused
"Your house is the only one that vampires can enter at" he explained and I just nodded

I got out of the shower ready to lay down, as I walked into my room I saw kol sitting on my bed.
"What are you doing here kol" I questioned
"I'm sorry about this" and he ran over to me and we were gone
