Chapter Twenty Three

I woke up to Ellie laughing, I opened my eyes and saw kol tickling her.
"I'm sorry love we didn't mean to wake you" kol kissed my head
"MAMA" Ellie screamed I chuckled
I learned she screams when she's happy or excited, I don't understand why no one screams around here
"REBEKAHHHH" we heard someone scream from down stairs
Now I know where she gets it from
We made our way downstairs and saw klaus talking to Rebekah
"Just the girl I was going to scream for next" he walked over to me "you should get to know Hayley and talk to her" he suggested and walked away
I walked into the kitchen and saw Hayley
"Hey Hayley" I smiled at her
"Avaree right" she asked
I nodded "you can call me Ava mostly everyone does" she nodded now
"So how much months are you" I asked well I poured me and Ellie orange juice
"I'm almost nine months" she said
"So you should be having the baby soon then" I looked back at her and she nodded
"Thank you for helping us I really appreciate it" she said
"It's nothing really" I walked up to her "klaus and them have been there for me and they watched over Alejandro well I was gone it's the least I could do" I smiled and walked to the living room
I forgot Ellie orange juice so I walked back but stopped when I heard Hayley and Elijah talking
"I really don't know if we should trust her, aren't the witches the ones after the baby" Hayley asked
"Not Avaree she family, she's been by our side and is still by our side. We trust her and so should you" Elijah told her
"I'm just saying if she gets in the way I won't hesitate to kill her" Hayley said
"I'm sure Avaree won't get in the way she won't let anything happen to you or the baby" Elijah reinsured her
Now I'm starting to rethink if I should help them or not. But I'm doing this for the baby, it's just a baby it doesn't deserve to die no one does.
I walked into the kitchen and grabbed Ellie orange juice and just walked out and back to the living room where kol, ale and Ellie were.
"We should go explore" I suggested
"No been there done that" ale said
"Yes New Orleans is boring" kol said and ale agreed
They've both been to New Orleans but I haven't
"I'm sorry I've never been here so I'll explore with Ellie then" I grabbed ellies hand and we walked upstairs to get ready

I was about to walk out the door when klaus stopped me
"Where are you going" he questioned
"I'm going to go explore" I said in a duh tone
"Alone" he smirked
"No with Ellie" I turned around to try and show him Ellie but she was gone
"If your trying sneak out alone without kol knowing just say something"he grinned
I wasn't paying attention I was looking for Ellie because she was just behind me
"KOL" I yelled
Maybe she was with him
"That's enough Ava you could go I don't care if you cheat on Kol" he chuckled "I lie don't bloody cheat-"
I cut him off "klaus I'm not lying Ellie was just behind me" his face dropped when he saw I was being serious
"She didn't walk out the door because I was blocking it" he turned to the door "so she's still in the house"
Kol walked to us confused
"What are you guys looking for" he was just standing there watching us looking around the house
"Do you have Ellie" I asked and he squinted his eyes at me
"She was with you" he started walking towards me "where is she Avaree" he growled
"I don't know she was just behind me" I said
"WHERE IS SHE" he growled louder and his vampire face was out
I don't understand why he was getting mad at me, it's not like I purposely lost her
"I don't know kol" klaus got in between us probably so no one gets hurt
"We'll find her" klaus said and pulled me away
We looked all over the house and she was no where, everyone was looking. We did a locator spell but it just stayed in the same spot so she should be here
"I shouldn't have trusted her with you" I was shocked by Kols word
"With me, I'm her Guardian, her mom" I shot back
"Well you did a great job with that didn't you" he threw his hands up in the air
"What's that supposed to mean" I asked
"Stop both of you this isn't helping" Elijah cut in
"I was in here life longer then you. You were only in her life for 10 months then you died then you only had her for how long 48 hours then you lost her what a good mother" I gulped and looked down "Ava I-"
I walked away before he could finish and walked into a empty room no one stays in and locked the door. I sat in the ground by the bed and cried. I was hurt by Kols words because they were true, his been in her life longer then me and I was supposed to be there for them but I couldn't
"Mama" I looked up and there she is; Ellie was staring at me
"Hi baby sit down" I patted next to me and she sat by me
She must of cloaked herself
I hugged her "I'm so glad your safe"

Kols POV
We were all looking for Ellie but we couldn't find her. She couldn't of gone far and can't hide for long but I was getting anxious that she was gone.
"I shouldn't have trusted her with you" I said to Ava
I needed to blame someone and she was the last one to have her
"With me, I'm her guardian, her mom" she said back
"We'll you did a great job with that right" I didn't know what I was saying at this point
"What's that supposed to me" she asked confused
"Stop both of you this isn't helping" Elijah stepped in
"I was in her life longer then you. You were only in her life for 10 months then you died then you only had her for how long 48 hours then you lost her what a good mother" I froze once I said that "Ava I-" she ran away before I could apologize
"KOL" Rebekah yelled
I sighed "I didn't mean to say that" ale scoffed
"Of course you did your kol, your a dick honestly Damon would be better for her I don't understand why she's with you" he walked off
Me and ale haven't got along since I kinda killed him, but I don't blame him
What he said I took to heart since I always saw her and Damon a couple, I always mess up our relationship when it's going good but I'll change hopefully
