Chapter Twenty

Third Person POV
It's been five months since Avaree past and everything is finally going back to normal we'll sort of.
Klaus is back to causing trouble with the Mystic Falls gang.
Elijah is trying to keep everyone handled so no one ends up dead. His been teaching Alejandro how to fight just in case someone attacks well there not there.
Rebekah went back to school trying to make new friends but nothings working. She's always watching Ellie and Alejandro making sure there never in trouble.
Damon went on a killing spree after the funeral because it finally hit him his best friend is gone but Elena brought him back sort of .
Stefan is hanging out with Alejandro more making sure nothing happens to him. His helping Bonnie find a way to get Avaree back
Bonnie made a promise to herself that she will try to bring avaree back since she got her into the mess with Kai by giving her the ancestors magic.
Kol was about to go on a killing spree but Rebekah told him that he has to be there for Ellie so he stayed and won't leave Ellie side.
Alejandro is going back to school because he wants his life to be normal again. His learning how to fight off vampires and Hybrids with Elijah.
Avaree is watching everyone from the other side proud of them but not proud of Nik.

One year since Avaree died
Since Klaus got a werewolf pregnant and moved to New Orleans to take over the city he once had.
Elijah is of course going to go with him because he believes the baby will redeem his brother again.
Alejandro believe it will be a good to move away from Mystic Falls so he left with them.
Rebekah and Kol stayed in mystic falls with Ellie because they have everything they want there, klaus was furious that they would want to stay and not go with him.
Damon, Stefan and Bonnie have been searching for a way to bring Avaree back but it always just lead them to a dead end or to much power for Bonnie.

Damon's POV
"Did you know that Alejandro left with klaus and Elijah " I heard Elena say walking in
"Yup" I didn't look at her
"Your not going to stop him" she furrowed her eyebrows
"Nope he wants to start over so let him he'll be safe" I didn't want him to leave but he wants to try and start fresh
I put my bourbon down
She just scoffed and walked to stefans room. Yup there still going thought I would get the girl but I guess I lost her when I started killing again but who cares right
"Damon" I turned around and Bonnie was out of breath
"What" she was trying to say words but she was trying to caught her breath
"I think I have an idea" she finally said
I narrowed my eyes at her "and what's that" I started walking towards her
"Avaree siphon all the ancestors magic right into a bracelet right" I nodded "what if it's possible, if I try to channel all that power and bring her back" she looked confident
"Where's the bracelet" I asked
"Kol"

Kols POV
I was in Ellie's nursery playing with her
"Here" she handed me a tea cup
She's almost 2 years old and she loves to talk, We all tell her story's each night about Avaree so she doesn't forget her. Well now it just me and Rebekah telling her story's since the other left. But before they left we did learn that Ellie's a witch when we were having dinner one night ellies food started floating kinda freaked us out but didn't surprise us.
"Dada tea" she pointed to her tea cup
I was about to put water in the cup but there was a knock
"Hold up littlest darling" I kissed her head and walked to the door
I opened it and saw Damon and Bonnie
"What" I asked
"Can we use Avaree bracelet" Bonnie asked looking at my wrist
I've worn it every day since I found it on the ground that night
"Why" I furrowed my eyebrows
"Look kol just give us-"Bonnie cut Damon off
"Trust us kol we need it and we'll bring the bracelet back" why did they want it
"What are you guys going to do to it" I questioned
"Dada" I turned around and saw Ellie walking to us and I picked her up
"Where going to to try something kol" that's all Bonnie said
Damon keep staring at Ellie. He hasn't came to see her since Avaree died, Stefan comes once in a while
"I want it back before night fall" I handed Bonnie the bracelet and closed the door
"Now where's my tea party" I tickled Ellie and she started giggling

Damon POV
I was getting aggravated when kol wouldn't give us the bracelet
"Dada" I heard from behind kol and I saw him pick up Ellie
She's gotten big since the last time I seen her. I couldn't dare see them anymore after Avaree it was just to hard.
I wasn't paying attention to the conversation I just saw kol hand Bonnie the bracelet and close the door
"Let's go" she smiled and we headed to the cemetery

I was getting her coffin out of the wall and I put it on the ground. We put candles around the room even tho is was still kinda bright outside. She sat by her coffin and started chanting and the bracelet started floating and the candles flames went bigger. Is it working?
Bonnie stopped and looked in the coffin I turned away because I couldn't see
"I was hoping that would work" she got upset "I've tried everything what I'm I doing wrong"
I grabbed her checks "nothing your doing everything right but maybe she can't come back" I whispered the last part and she nodded
"I'm sorry Damon" she packed up her stuff"I have to go give kol back the bracelet bye Damon" she walked out and I sat down

"I've been killing Avaree I think you need to come back and yell at me" I looked at her coffin
"So that's why you want her back to yell at you" Stefan walked in and sat next to me "Bonnie texted me saying you might need this" he handed me a bottle of bourbon
I took a drink " I really thought we could bring her back" I stared at the ground
I just need my best friend back
"I was hoping we could" Stefan grabbed the bottle out of my hand
"Everyone is starting all over with out her but I can't" I turned to Stefan "I'm lost without her" I felt tears running down my face
Stefan hugged me "me too brother"
"Now how am I going to be able to pick a favorite Salvatore" we turned and saw Avaree sitting up in the coffin
"Avaree" I said
"Damon and Stefan" she smiled at us
We ran to hug her

Avarees POV
I saw on the other side Bonnie was doing a spell but nothing happened but then I passed out
I woke and I couldn't see it was dark
"Everyone is starting all over with out her but I can't" I heard "I'm lost without her"
I pushed open whatever was in front of me and saw Stefan hugging Damon
"Me too brother" they were crying
"Now how am I going to be able to pick a favorite Salvatore" I said breaking the silence
They turned to me and they were shocked
"Avaree" Damon whispered
"Damon and Stefan" I smiled at them and they ran over hugging me " I've misssd you guys so much" it was my turn to cry now
"We missed you too" Stefan said
Damon keep making sure I was real and not there imagination
We stayed like that for awhile but I wanted them to take me to Ellie and Alejandro. They caught me up on everything that I might have not caught from the other side. We pulled up to the Mikaelsons mansion and it looked dark and lonely
"You sure you don't want us to stay with you" Damon asked
"I need to see them alone. I'll come over tomorrow" I got out of the car and watched them drive away
I was nervous. What are they going to say? Is Ellie going to remember me? Does kol still want me around? Did Rebekah have new better friends? All possible questions were running threw my head. I finally made it to the door and knocked. I was supposed to knock right?
I turned around about to walk away but the door opened
"What" I recognize that voice anywhere
I turned around and I'm finally face to face with Kol
"Hi Kol" I smiled
"Avaree"
