It's been at least two day's since Scorn or any of his men has visited us. That's two long day's without food or water. I'm no fool though, his plan is to weaken us so we aren't as strong when we fight back. In most case's when dealing with normal people this would break them, make them compliant, trade their freedom for a sip of water or Alice of stale bread but he didn't think this one through... We aren't normal people. We've been trained for this. We know how to sustain and conserve our energy for so long. However this isn't the case for Chelly and her friend Jensey, perhaps even Demy this being her first real imprisonment.

But what is concerning me the most is Chelly's health. She started coughing about a day ago and it's gradually getting worse. Due to her fractured ribs and the many abrasions that cover her body she could easily slip into pneumonia especially considering the cool, dank conditions of our cell. Not to mention with every breath we take we are breathing in dust, mold and our on bodily fluids. In such a small area such as this it doesn't take long for the smell of urine and such to consume the air. These are definitely not favorable conditions for Chelly to be in. It's not just her cough that worries me though, she has a few abrasions that run pretty deep and risk infection. Currently she rested with her head on Jensey's lap. "Keep a check on her for fever". I ordered.

Giving me a weak glare Jensey did as I asked. "She's okay for now".

I nodded then went back to thinking of a way out of this but was interrupted by sniffling and movement. I saw Jensey getting up to her knees with tears rolling down her cheeks. "Sit still. Save your energy" . I said.

"Screw you and screw this. I'm so hungry and thirsty. I can't do this anymore." She cried near hysterics.

" you need to lower your voice and get a hold of yourself ". I warned.

Not hearing my word's, Jensey crawled her way to the door and begin to bang on it as she screamed. "Let me out. Please, I need water. I'll do whatever you want".

Immediately I rushed to her and clamped my hand over her mouth. Spinning her around I growled. "Shut the fuck up before you get us all killed. You can't give in, you're giving them what they want. Where's that smart ass backbone you had? You could use it right now. Now toughen up and do as I say because right now Chelly needs you to stick around. She doesn't trust us but she trust's you so sick of up".

Jensey slowly nodded her understanding and once I was sure that she wouldn't continue her screaming rampage I removed my hand from her mouth and watched her scamper back over to Chelly.

Sometime later that day we heard feet approaching and key's jiggling preparing to open the door. I eyed Zoe and Demy before whispering. "Wait for my signal" .

Moment's later the door opened and in stepped one of Scorn's men. He carried a few bottle of water's and what looked like a day old pizza. Dropping the pizza and water to the floor he laughed. "Sorry about the wait. We kinda forgot about you all. Hope you wasn't too hungry or thirsty."

" Yeah, we are famished but not for food or water... For blood, preferably yours". I taunted.

I cut my eye's toward Zoe and Demy to alert them as I counted on the man's next move. As predicted he swung his leg out to kick me in the mouth. What he didn't count on was me being loose. Blocking his kick, I grabbed his leg and twisted at an odd angle until I heard his knee pop. The man cried out as he crumbled to the floor in pain. I crawled on top of him as Zoe went to work disarming him from all weapons. Wrapping my hands around his throat I begin to squeeze with all my might. Luck would have it that when he collapsed he fell right beside Chelly. The noise of the struggle stirred her and her eye's cracked open. Once she seen what was taking place fear rushed into her eye's and she tried to scream but her throat was too dry for and sound to emerge. "Turn away Chelly". I spoke softly but she was frozen in place.
