" Isabella Garcia-Shapiro... Will you marry me?" I gasped as I heard those words. I stared as Phineas pulled out a box. And knelt to the ground. His hands moved to open it.
" Isabella!" My eyes shot open.
" Huh? What!?" I yelled, half asleep.
" Uh. You kinda need to get up. Candace has been calling for the past twenty minutes." I finally woke up enough to realize I was lying on Phineas' chest.
" So... It was a dream..." I mumbled.
" What was a dream?" Phineas asked. I turned red so fast, it's a wonder I didn't explode. I bolted up. Off my boyfriend waving my arms in circles.
" Oh. Uh! Nothing! Nothing at all! Just a dream about uh... A dog!?" I stammered. He gave me a weird look
" Ok.... Anyway. Did you hear what I said about Candace? She's been calling for twenty minutes. Her wedding is like tomorrow." He replied. I felt all the color drain from my face.
" Oh. No. I am a dead woman." I said glumly. He nodded.
" Yeah. Me and you both." He muttered. I smirked.
" You're a dead woman?" I teased. He made a face at me
" Most definitely a man." Was the reply
" Nice comeback." I said. He rolled his eyes.
" Yeah. I kind of failed there didn't i. We keep avoiding the inevitable. Who's gonna call her first?" He asked shakily. I shrugged.
" We do this together. Hand me my phone please?" He immediately, got up and handed me the device. I clicked on Candace's number, put it on speaker and stepped back.
One ring..... Two.... Three.
" Isabella Garcia-Shapiro!!!!! What in the name of Perry did you do? Where on Earth were you! No one could find you or get ahold of you! We were worried sick!!!! You had better have a good explanation for all of this. Or I will hunt you down! And so owe to my wedding day to!!!!!" Candace's voice exploded out of the speaker. I winced slightly.
" We are so sorry. We went hiking and got lost in the rain. Noether of us had our phones. But we're ok now..." I managed.
" Phineas is there too? Where is there?! Phineas!!!" She cried.
" Yeah I'm here. I take full responsibility for us getting lost. It was my idea." Phineas said stepping forwards.
" Phineas. Don't ever do that again! I was worried sick!" She shrieked. Phineas winced and backed away.
" Sorry sis. What can we do to make it up to you?" He asked timidly
" I!.... I don't know....you!" She began. A man's voice began speaking softly to her. Jeremy I assumed. We sat there silently and waited for the murmurs to stop. When they did Candace sounded much calmer.
" Thank you Jeremy. I will." She sighed.
" Can you two just come to my house today? I have a few last minute decisions to make and could really use your help. And really. I'm just glad you guys are ok."
" Of course Candace. We really are sorry to have worried anyone." I replied earnestly. She took another deep breath.
" K. See you then. And if I call you. You had better not ignore me again."
" Yes ma'am." Phineas and I said in sync.
" Good. Bye! Jeremy is. Waiting for me." She chirped before hanging up. I laughed.
" She really hasn't changed much. Still eccentric, still crazy about Jeremy." I said
Phineas shook his head in awe wide eyed.
