I woke up with my head still on Phineas shoulder. His arm was wrapped protectively around my waist, and he was fast asleep. Trying my best not to wake him in extracted myself from his form grip and stretched my sore body. I was really stiff. I glanced at the electronic clock in the kitchen and saw that it was blank
" Oh no. Power outage." I muttered. Luckily it was light enough that I could see. I grabbed some refrigerated foods that could be eaten raw and began a sort of breakfast meal thing. I marveled at how well I seemed to work in that kitchen. I loved it. I loved this apartment, even though it was getting dirty.
" Hmmm. Cleaning party." I decided after running my fingers down the shelf and leaving a line in the dust. I glanced over at Phineas. He was still out of it. I smiled, I had chosen to give Phineas another chance. I had trusted him with my biggest burden. It was freezing to share that burden, even though I felt bad that I had thrust that on him. It seemed that the longer I stayed here the more comfortable I became. I thought about last night. My cheeks reddened slightly. I had completely let down my guard. I told him about my desire for love.
" Isabella?" My eyes snapped open. I hadn't even realised they were closed. I looked up, Phineas was standing in front of me. His hair and clothes were rumpled from sleep. He still didn't look fully awake. It was kind of adorable
" Morning sunshine!" I said cheerfully. He yawned and rubbed his eyes, and rolled his shoulder. I winced. The sore shoulder would be my fault
" How's your shoulder?" I asked in concern. He shrugged
" A bit sore, but it's fine." He said smirking.
" Sorry." I said. His smirk widened.
" Nah don't worry about it." He looked around and his smirk fell.
" Dang, powers out!" He said in frustration. I nodded. He sat down and grabbed part of my makeshift breakfast.
" Phineas I know what we're gonna do today!" I said striking a pose.
" Hey! That's my line!" He said pouting.
" Not today it's not!" I said giggling at his pouty face. He grinned
" Fine I give you temporary use. What are we gonna do?" I held up my phone and a rag.
" Cleaning party!" I said laughing at his confused face. He looked at me for a second before getting up and grabbing the rag.
" Alrighty, let's go! Start in the kitchen" he asked. I nodded. He went and grabbed more cleaning supplies. I went through my playlist. Thankfully my playlist didn't need reception to play. I put it on shuffle and turned the volume all the way up. I began cleaning, soon I got over my nervousness about Phineas hearing me sing and seeing me dance and was belting out the lyrics to each song, twirling in circles and dancing. I couldn't dance to save my life, but I didn't care, I was having fun. The chorus of the song hit. I sang out to my heart's content. To my surprise phineas joined in and we finished the song. He began dancing as well. He was almost as bad as I was. By the time the song ended we were both laughing. The intro to the next song came on and I squealed.
" Hey! This is our song!" I grabbed a spatula and threw it to Phineas who was giving me a strange look, he caught it and looked at it for a moment.
" Hit it Phin!" I said. He grinned and took center stage er- kitchen? And hit his line perfectly
" Bow china bow wow!" He pointed at me dramatically
" Thats what my baby says!" I chimed in, pointing back
" Mow mow mow" he sang getting into it
" And my heart starts pumpin!"
" Chika chika choo choo whop. Never gonna stop!" Be sang throwing me a grin. And we sang the next line together.
