When We arrived at the reception, it was already in full swing. I glanced around, taking in all the smiling, familiar faces. Mrs. Garcia-Shapiro was chatting with my mom and Vanessa. Stacy, Coltrane, Candace and Jeremy were dancing. Buford, Ferb and Baljeet stood off to the side drinking juice and chatting. Vanessa stood with her father near the dance floor. More people I didn't know we're roaming around taking in the small yard.

" Wow. This brings back some memories." Isabella said, still gripping my arm next to me.

" Yeah. No kidding. Especially with all of these people here." I replied glancing down at her smiling.

" Yeah..." She trailed off.

" Let's go socialize!" I proclaimed. Gently removing her arm from mine, grabbing her hand instead.

" I'm gonna go talk to Candace. I didn't really get a chance to after the ceremony." Isabella said calmly.

" Alright. Have fun!" I cheered watching her run up to my sister, who instantly engulfed her in a large hug. I turned away and walked over to the guys.

" Hey what's up guys!" I greeted.

" Phineas! How are you doing!" Baljeet replied smiling. Buford grunted.

" I'm doing really good. How about you. How's Ginger?" I questioned.

" Oh she is doing great! Thank you for asking." He replied. A tap on my shoulder drew my attention to my brother.

" Ferb! What's up?" I asked. He smiled and hugged me.

" Nothing much is up. What about you? Any important news?" He asked quietly. I tensed for a second, thinking about my plan to propose. His eyes narrowed. He would figure it out eventually. So I gave up.

" Actually I do have some news. But I don't want to tell.you here." I admitted. I noticed Buford and Baljeet had suddenly dissapeared. Glancing around. I spied them talking to Candace and Jeremy.

" Phineas?" Ferb said simply. I pulled my attention to him. He had an eyebrow raised.

" Is this bad news?" He asked. I shook my head wildly.

" No! No! It's really good news. I think.... Unless it fails.... No! It's really good news!"

" What's really good news?" Isabella said coming up behind me. I jumped.a foot in the air.

"I-isabella!? You scared me!" I exclaimed. She laughed.

" sorry. Ferb! How's it going?" She asked hugging him briefly. He smiled in acknowledgment. Isabella turned back to.me.

" So. What's good news?" She prompted. I panicked. Blushing bright red.

" Uh. That uh. Candace's wedding went so smoothly. And that she is.so happy. Yeah... Uh.. that's good news." I said in a jumbled mess of words. Isabella and Ferb shared a glance.

" You ok Phin? You are as red as a tomato..." Isabella said resting her hand on my cheek. Ferb just watched. I had to get a grip. She really didn't know of my plan yet. I took a deep breath and focused on her cool hand on my face.

" Im fine. Thank you. It's just really hot in here." I said, pulling at my shirt.

" Oh. I'll go get you some water." She said walking away. I turned back to Ferb.

" Can we meet up soon. I really need to get this off my chest." I said face palming myself.

" Obviously. I'm free tomorrow." He supplied.

" Perfect! I have work until about 3. How about 3:30. Your place or mine?" I asked.

" Mine." He responded. I nodded.
