The fanart isn't mine once again, and it doesn't have anything to do with this chapter! I just thought it was cute.

Yamaguchi frantically looked around the school for that familiar blonde boy that he kept his distance from in the past month and a half. Yams didn't have a clue on where Tsukki was because, he hasn't been hanging around with him for the past month.
That's when Yamaguchi remembered that he hung out at the tree at the end of the field sometimes. So, that's where Yams opted to go next, hoping that Tsukki would be there. As he rolled up closer to the field, he could see a hint of blonde hair swaying in the wind, sitting behind and against the tree.
"Tsukki." Yamaguchi called out to Tsukishima, taking off his headphones. Tsukki turned around, and was pretty surprised to see Yamaguchi standing there.
"Yamaguchi!" Tsukishima exclaimed, pulling Yams into a single sided hug. The distance Yamaguchi gave Tsukki must've took a toll on him big time. The freckled boy just stood there while the taller boy hugged him like he just broke up with his partner.
"Tsukki..." Yamaguchi trailed off, lightly pushing Tsukishima off. "We need to talk." He sighed, the tears starting to sting his eyes a bit. "That kiss, the hugs, holding hands, I really thought it meant something. I thought you liked me liked I liked you but, I was the fool this time." Yams softly chuckled, his voice starting to break.
"Yamaguchi, it di--" Tsukki was cut off by Yamaguchi because, he didn't want to get shut down or rejected or heartbroken once again.
"Tsukishima, please...just tell me what she has that I don't." Yamaguchi begged, dropping his head down low. Something about this girl made Yamaguchi doubt himself. She was like the bullies that made fun of him in middle school but the difference today is that, Tsukishima wasn't there to defend him.
Tsukishima hated seeing Yamaguchi like this. Hated seeing Yams in pain, because of him. Tsukki just wanted to hug the smaller boy and confess his undying love for him but, it was too late. Here came Haruhi strutting down the field, eyeing the dark haired boy with daggers.
"TSUTSU!" Haruhi gave a humongous wave, pissing both Yamaguchi and Tsukishima off. Thing is, Yams thought that Tsukki was happy to see her but, it was obvious that her presence bothered Yamaguchi. "Oh, is that Yamaguchi?" She squinted her eyes, trying to make out the smaller boy next to Tsukishima.
"I just hope you're happy!" Yamaguchi slapped on a warm smile, picking up his bag from the ground. "I'll see you around Tsukki." His smile dimmed a bit, and Tsukishima could tell.
"Please, come over tonight, just hear me out okay?" Tsukishima grabbed Yamaguchi's hand, and whispered down into his ear. If you ever met Tsukki in real life, you'd never think he's the type to beg for anything but when it came to Yamaguchi, he was desperate.
Yamaguchi just gave his best friend a small smile, and walked away from the conversation because he could feel Haruhi eyeing him. Just waiting for him to leave so she could have time with Tsukishima.
After school was done, and practice was over, Yamaguchi contemplated on whether to go over to Tsukki's or not. 'What if that girl was over there again?" Yams thought to himself, standing in the silent night by himself. This time, he didn't wait for Tsukishima to walk home with him so, he was left to think for himself.
'But maybe this was all a misunderstanding?'
'Maybe he does like me?'
'But what if I'm being delusional ?'
Those thoughts clashed through Yamaguchi's head as he thought back to all of the times Tsukki was around Haruhi. Remembering the sight of them pressing their lips against each other's made him cringe in anger and disgust.
"What do I do?" Yamaguchi sighed, hoping someone would answer even though no one was there. While he was thinking, he wondered on what happened after he left Tsukki with Haruhi...

Of course he doesn't know but, you guys can ;)
Flashback...
'I just hope you're happy?' Tsukishima thought to himself, as he watched Yamaguchi walk away with his head down. 'What does he mean by that ?' He wondered, until Haruhi strutted up to his side like a replacement Yamaguchi.
That's when he realized what Yamaguchi meant. Haruhi must've said something to Yams or something to make him upset, and that made Tsukishima upset.
"TsuTsu, what's wrong?" Haruhi pouted, as Tsukishima clenched his fists up at his side. "I'm so glad Yamaguchi's gone." She giggled, slipping her fingers to intertwine with Tsukki's.
"What did you say to Yamaguchi?" Tsukishima swiped his hand away, gritting those words though his teeth. He was furious because through the past month, she's been clinging onto him like a piece of gum in his hair. The only thing to when you get gum in your hair is to...cut it off.
"Does it matter?" Haruhi giggled, pulling Tsukki's head down so she could give him a kiss. Instead of a kiss, Tsukishima shoved her off, making her offended. "What gives TsuTsu?!" She stomped her foot down.
"Answer the question Haruhi." Tsukishima demanded, worried that Haruhi might've said something horrendous to Yamaguchi. "What kind of sick thoughts did you put into Yamaguchi's head?" He seethed, pushing her back onto the tree.
"TsuTsu..." Her voice shook, knowing she fucked up because of how angry Tsukishima was. "I told him that you didn't love him like he loved you!" She finally spat out, making Tsukki's eyes widen in shock. Haruhi could tell that Tsukki was taken aback a bit so, she shoved him off. "I mean, I only told him the truth." Haruhi tilted her head, trying to play innocent.
"And how would you know how I feel Haruhi?" Tsukishima dug his nails into the palm of his hand, trying to hold back from slapping Haruhi across the face. "You've been clinging to me like some sick puppy, ruining everything in your path. I don't even remember saying that I wanted you around me?" He told her with a condescending look.
"But..." Tears stung Haruhi's eyes from the words Tsukishima spat out at her. "Then why did you keep me around?" Haruhi let the tears overflow, as an attempt to make Tsukki feel bad. "Why didn't you just reject me?" She asked, looking up at the blonde boy.
It was stupid but, Tsukishima felt bad. He knew that she was just doing it to manipulate him but, he knew that deep down it was his fault for falling for her tricks. He indirectly neglected Yamaguchi by hanging around with Haruhi, hurting two birds with one stone.
In this, it looks like Haruhi's the bad guy, and maybe she is?
But, the real bad guy was Tsukishima himself.

AN:
I hate writing Haruhi as much as you guys hate reading her so :)
By the way, if grammar and spelling issues are in this or next chapters, it's because I'm watching Survivor while writing this lol.
