After a few hours, Tsukishima nerveracklingly waited to see if the freckled boy would show up at his doorstep or not. If he didn't Tsukki would understand why he chose not to come, and wouldn't bother him anymore but if he did show up, Tsukishima planned on explaining the whole situation in hopes that he'd believe him.
Luckily for Tsukishima, he heard that doorbell ring as he shot up from his seat.
"Hey Yamaguchi..." Tsukki awkwardly greeted the dark haired boy at the door who had puffy eyes. "Yams--" He softly dragged his finger on the underparts of Yamaguchi's eyes but Yams just flicked Tsukishima's finger away, walking into the house.
"I came over to talk so, let's talk." Yamaguchi got right to the point, walking up to Tsukishima's room in hopes that this would go by quickly.
AN:
Okay so Tsukishima's explanation might sound a little sketch or not good because I'm not good at explaining things LOL. Or apologizing for that matter :(). So, attack Tsukki all you want for his shitty explanation :)
"Yamaguchi, I know this whole situation looks bad but, please, please hear me out." Tsukishima begged the dark haired boy as he just nodded in silence. "I know you saw Haruhi and I...you know but, I promise you I didn't kiss her back." Tsukki sighed, hoping his words would make sense to Yamaguchi because, he wasn't good at this.
"I saw you shoving your tongue down her throat." Yamaguchi croaked, keeping his head down as he sat on top of Tsukki's bed. "So, don't tell me you didn't kiss her back."
"Yamaguchi, she forced herself onto me. That split second you saw her kiss me is before I could push her off." Tsukishima's voice started to rasp as he tried his damndest to convince Yamaguchi because Yams didn't look like he was wavering. Or Tsukki just couldn't tell. "Yamaguchi...please."
Flashback once again...
Ding, dong!
Yamaguchi fell asleep, snuggling on to Tsukki's chest for some unknown reason. Maybe it was to avoid the movie, or maybe it was because Tsukishima's chest was comfortable? Who knows? The taller boy enjoyed stroking Yamaguchi's hair until he heard that doorbell ring.
He didn't wanna leave Yamaguchi's side but, he figured it wouldn't hurt to go downstairs and check who it was. To his surprise, it was the girl from the cafe.
"It's late, can I help you?" Tsukishima asked, scratching his head, wondering why she was here so late and wondering how she's found his address. "And how do you know where I live?"
"I saw you and your friend walking in and it's just a huge coincidence that I'm your nextdoor neighbor!" Haruhi giggled, making Tsukki yawn. "You didn't call me." She continued to laugh, fidgeting with her fingers.
'God, what a weird girl.' Tsukishima thought to himself, rolling his eyes. "Well if that's all, have a good night." He was about to shut the door on Haruhi but, she stopped him before he could slam it.
"I wanted to ask if you wanted to go out sometime?" Haruhi batted her eyes to the clearly agitated Tsukishima, just waiting to slam this door on her face.
"No thanks." Tsukishima bluntly replied, wanting to get back to Yamaguchi's side. "Please don't spontaneously show up at my house at 10:00 at night." Tsukki added, before slightly pushing the girl out of his doorway.
Haruhi noticed someone, or something peeking around the corner so she pulled Tsukishima down into a kiss. She saw that it was Yamaguchi once his dark green hair slammed back into the corner he was in. SHe ended up smirking as Tsukishima pulled away in disgust.
"What the hell?!" Tsukishima exclaimed, wiping his lips with the backside of his hand. 'Please Yamaguchi, please tell me you stayed asleep.' Tsukki silently begged to himself, slamming the door on the girls face, not caring if he hurt any part of her body.
Of course, the first thing Tsukishima did was run up to go and check on Yamaguchi.
Back to the present...
Yamaguchi didn't know what to say as he hung his head low, staying silent for the whole explanation. Tsukishima just watched, and waited for a response from Yams but, he never got one.
"I'm such an idiot." Yamaguchi's voice broke, as he continued to look down. "I'm so sorry Tsukki." Hot tears started to fall down Yams' face as he realized what he's done.
"Yamagu--" Tsukishima let out a slight gasp and he saw the teardrops wet his white sheets.
"I believed that bitch instead of my own best friend." Yamaguchi wiped his eyes with the back of his hand, as the tears continued to fall. 'I believed a hag instead of the person I love.' Yams thought to himself in shame, at what happened.
"Yamaguchi, it's okay..." Tsukishima comforted the crying boy, not knowing what to really do. "It wasn't your fault." Tsukki just decided to say, pulling Yamaguchi into a hug.
"I'm sorry I didn't believe you or hear you out." Yamaguchi sobbed into Tsukishima's arms, making Tsukki's heart ache a bit. He didn't want to see Yams cry...ever. "I...didn't believe my best friend...or the person I'm in love with." The freckled boy finally admitted, making the taller boy's eyes widen in shock.
Tsukishima didn't say anything and, that made Yamaguchi a bit worried because he just realized what he had said. Yams pulled back from the hug, looking down while his cheeks flushed bright red. Before the smaller boy knew it, Tsukki crashed his lips down on Yamaguchi's.
"Yamaguchi...I love you..too." Tsukishima whispered to Yamaguchi, deepening the kiss between the two boys. "Will you go out with me?" He suddenly asked, and the dark haired boy just nodded his head.
At that moment in time, it felt like everything was perfect. Nothing else in the world mattered. There were only two people in the world right now.
Tsukishima and Yamaguchi.
