Rose's POV
"Hey Rose, wanna go out for a bit?" Luke asked.
"Yeah, are Alex and Reggie coming?" I asked.
"Well, no. I was thinking you and I needed a little one on one time. Its been a while since we caught up. And you could show me how to hunt like a pro," he said.
I was nervous. I was scared I wouldn't be back before Bella woke up.
"You'll be back in time. Don't worry," Edward said.
"What do you mean Edward?" Luke asked.
"She was worried that she wouldn't be back in time for when Bella woke up," he said.
"Yeah, we won't be out too late. Don't worry Rose," Luke said.
He held out his hand for me to take, and I took it. We vampire sped out the door and into the woods.
"So, what do you wanna do first? Catch up, or hunt?" I asked.
"Well, I did want to show you a song I wrote. And um, its why I'm protective of you," he said.
"So, its not because of the whole Caleb thing?" I asked.
"That made me more protective of you. I'm talking about the main reason," he said.
"So, wanna hunt, catch up, and then you can show me the song?" I asked.
He nodded.
"Great. I know a great spot," I said.
"Show me your ways master," he said jokingly.
We laughed.
After we hunted. We decided to go back to Julies so Luke can get his acoustic guitar and Song book. After that, we went back to forks.
"I'm glad Julie was sleeping. Otherwise, we'd have some explaining to do," Luke said.
"I know. In a way, Caleb saved me from telling her," I said
"Yeah, maybe it wasn't so bad," He said sitting on the rock where we were at.
"So, what have you been up to since I was M.I.A for the last 25 years?" He asked
