Chapter 37

It had been about two days since I came home, I spent those days mostly with my parents walking around the village which has obviously now been protected by guards 24/7.

I had finally got home, sitting on my bed with the letter that had been given to me this morning from my eomma. Opening the letter I smile at the recognisable handwriting,

Dear Y/n,

Hoseok has just returned as I'm writing this, Life has been agonising over these past weeks, or months I have lost count. I couldn't bare it without you, I hope this reaches you soon as this is a notice that I am coming to see you, I don't exactly know when but it will be within this week or the next so keep your eye out!

Smiling I put down the letter as I let my head rest in the soft pillow before I drift off into a deep sleep.

"Y/n! Taehyung is here!",Eomma shouts from downstairs.

I dismiss the lady who was doing my hair as I walk downstairs to see Taehyung who has a bright smile on his face.

Coming closer Taehyung nods to my eomma as he takes me outside holding the small of my waist as he leads me out of the garden.

"So how has your week been?", Taehyung asks as he leads me down a gravel road.

I smile as I look at the sun in the sky,

"Well I feel very safe thanks to the guards that are everywhere in town...", I smile.

Taehyung chuckles as he stops us near his horse which is being held by one of the guards.

"Would you mind coming with my to the castle for the evening?", Taehyung asked, placing a strand of hair behind my head.

Leaning in towards his touch I smile while nodding my head, eomma wouldn't mind since she knows I'm with Taehyung.

"Well then, let's get you on this horse!", Taehyung smiled walking me to the horse.

The doors opened as Taehyung led me through multiple halls until he came towards a small drawing room. The fire was lit and the walls were covered in bookcases and there was a small desk with a leather armchair at the back of the room behind the sofa.

Taehyung led me to the sofa as he stood in front of the fire.

"I do have to do a small piece of work, it's just signing a paper and I'll bring some food to the room", Taehyung said as he walked towards the desk.

So this must be his study. It's very cosy.

A maid soon came with tea and some food leaving us in the room alone.

Taehyung looked up from his desk and towards the window. Which I hadn't noticed that it had started raining until now.

Standing up I walked towards Taehyung, who was now looking at me. Standing behind me a tested my hands on his shoulders. Slightly rubbing them.

I smiled as I watched Taehyung lay back in the chair, closing his eyes,

"I just need to seal this and we can go figure something out", Taehyung said as he poured the hot wax on the paper.

Standing up from his seat, Taehyung walked towards me, holding out his arms as I walked towards him, wrapping my arms around his neck.

Looking up into his eyes, I smiled as Taehyung caressed my back.

"How about we go relax in the lounge huh, I believe my Eomma would be there as well", Taehyung whispered to me as he walked me out the door.

I found a seat opposite Taehyung's Eomma who was sewing something beside the fire.

We were having great conversations until I felt my eyes getting heavier which I'm pretty sure Taehyung recognised as well.

He stood up and walked towards me.

"I think I'll take Y/n to have a little rest...see you at tea Eomma", Taehyung smiled.
