Chapter 41

Im completely overwhelmed with happiness and joy as I'm staring down at Taehyung who was still kneeling on the grass with the ring in his hand looking up at me with pure joy in his eyes.

"Ofcoarse Tae! Yes...Yes I'll marry you!", I squeal

Taehyung stood up as he placed the ring on my finger, wiping away my tears of joy, I pulled him in for a kiss. We stayed in each others arms as the feeling of happiness was just overwhelming us.

I'm going to marry Taehyung...

"Is this why my parents were acting strange?", I asked

Taehyung nodded and admitted to coming over the day before to ask for their blessings which just made me even more happy, how much of a gentleman can this guy be?

"Well, we should go back soon, or they will think I chickened out..."

Taehyung said as he scratched the back of his neck, the sun was still shining as it was only after lunch and the town was still as lively than ever if not more. I smiled at him and pecked his lips once more.

They both stayed there for a few more minutes, enjoying each others company as they lay on the blankets, she was rested against his chest as he was lying completely flat on the ground, his hand holding her ring hand, his thumb caressing over the ring as he held the hand closer to his face. He smiled as he looked at it on her finger, he brought it closer and places a long peck on it as he held it now close to his chest, next to her head as she lay there, staring up at the sky, her head racing through the events that had previously occurred.

For him, he knew that he was going to marry her, and it became a certainty when she went missing, he couldn't lose her...not again...

They decided that they should head back. After wrapping up the blanket and made sure they had left nothing behind, they made their way back to her house, were they both knew very excited parents would be waiting...

"I'm so happy for you two! Congratulations!"

Mother pulled us both into a hug as tears were brimming her eyes. Father stood there, happy as can be as his daughter was now going to be married, and to the soon to be King. No father could be better set for life.

It wasn't long before there were cheers from outside the house swell as inside. Mother had managed to hide away celebration foods that she had sneakily asked the maids to help her make the night before, Taehyung smiled as he sat beside you in the front garden with both your mother and father. People were passing by constantly bowing and wishing you both the best of luck and leaving baskets of gifts with the maids.

"How is everyone so prepared for this?"

You laughed out as you rested your hand on Taehyungs as you watched the sen going down over the hill, you didn't realise how much time you had spent together until then.

It won't be long till you would be wearing rich silk dresses everyday, sleeping in the castle...and most importantly beside Taehyung. For some reason the thought of it made your stomach falter slightly, you couldn't tell whether it was a feeling of excitement or anxiousness...but why would you be anxious? You had already spent plenty of nights beside Teahyung...

It wasn't long till the servant had made his way into the large drawing room that was lit with the morning sun, He stood for a minute before humming to announce his presence. There, wrapped in each others arms were Hoseok and Wendy.

Hoseok took the envelope from the man and allowed him to leave, Turning back on the seat he manoeuvred himself to return back to his comfortable position as his wife laid sprawled on his chest. He opened the letter, noticing the seal from Taehyungs ring and read down through the letter as his smile was getting wider and wider s he slowly stopped at the bottom of it.

"The lucky bastard...He's finally done it!"

Hoseok chuckled as he looked down at a rather confused wife. Hoseok sat up immediately as his wife moved back in the seat.

"There's gong to be a wedding love" 

Hoseok smirked as he let her see the letter. He watched as she portrayed the same exact expression as she read through it, except the product of the happy news was quite different...

"No way! Oh my god!...We have to go Hoseok, we have to go see them, let's go get ready, we have to go see them!"

Wendy jumped around excitedly as she pulled Hoseok with her on a journey to their room....
