Chapter 22

Soojin (Taehyung's eomma)

I walk back into the throne room, smiling tracing my fingers over the gold lined thrones, remembering all the times I sat here with my husband, a little Taehyung on my lap, giggling and laughing, running around the room, without a care in the world...

I remember before he started his rule...I remember telling him...warning him about it,

"Taehyung, you will be given a lot of power...and with that power you will make bad decisions...but you will make good decisions, your people may not like you at first, but you have to earn their trust...don't let the power corrupt you, I want to come back here and see the same Taehyung I seen when you were 17..."

I smile remembering his worries about the people, and how he told me about the things they said, how it affected him...and now, he has found love...I hope she makes him strong, and loves him as much as he loves her...

I sat in the small meeting room, waiting for everyone to walk in, I have been sitting here for about thirty minutes, just thinking of how Y/n is feeling, is she even alive?

I just sit here thinking back to the cloaked men, trying to remember every single detail that I could about them...

The doors open, the members from the court and the chiefs of all of the villages I rule over, they took their seats, some standing along the back of the room, one man stood up and started the meeting.

Y/n

I was pushed into the light, I look around me, the bright blue skies, the sun breaking through the clouds...my stomach dropped...

.

.

The blue ocean....I am at sea...I look in the distance seeing land, beautiful green mountains....I look back, only to see the ocean, cascading for miles.

My eyes stinging with tears as I realise that I would never see home again...

The mans grip on my arm tightened, his disgusting laugh the only thing I can hear...apart from the waves hitting the boat, I had never been to sea, I had only been to the coat once, with my father...when he took me with him to the Parks Kingdom...

"Welcome to Finland  little lady..."

My tears fell, realising how far I am away from home. He chuckled, walking me back into the empty room, locking the door, leaving me in total darkness again.
