Chapter 8

We rushed back to the town hall with the mayor to stop the fight, getting closer you could hear the groans and punches.

The mayor shouted as he walked over to the boys, separating them, Baekhyun was held back by Chen and the mayor held Mingyu as he told them that they would both have to be held in the prison the rest of the night.

Mingyu snarled at me as they walked off towards the mayors office. I turn around to Wendy and sighed.

"I don't think I'm ever going to go to another dance again"

I sighed and left back home with Wendy.

"Miss Y/n, Miss Wendy is at the door for you"

I dismiss the maid and put my book down, I walk over to the window and look out, Wendy is at the door looking very excited. I take my cloak and walk to the door after telling my mother that I'm going out. I close the door behind me to see a very happy Wendy.

"Come on, I'll tell you as we get out flowers"

She pulled me out of the garden and down the road towards the forest. We finally got to the forest, I turned and looked at Wendy.

"So, what is all this happiness about?"

I ask while smiling, Wendy blushes and holds up her left hand, my eyes widened and I squealed, luckily we are in the forest.

"Hoseok proposed, this morning, before lunch, ah, I can't believe, I'm going to live in a castle, big fireplaces, silk sheets, oh the silk sheets!"

We laughed as he linked arms as we walked deeper into the forest as Wendy told me how he proposed.

"I want someone to propose to me

I pouted, Wendy slapped my shoulder. As we walked past where we normally stop and turn back.

"Oh, shush you, prince Jungkook asked you for the first dance"

She teased, he did, but we haven't talked to each other since I left. Wendy knows that.

"Well you always have Prince Taehyung" 

Wendy giggled as she wiggled her eyebrows, I look away and roll my eyes.

"Yes, the only love in my life"

I said playing along, we laughed and walked on.

"Your lucky, Prince Hoseok actually visits the villages under his rule regularly and checks in  with people"

I groan as we walk further down the gravel path, Wendy stopped as her eyes landed on two men walking down the gravel path, she then whispers in my ear.

"It's Prince Hoseok with the lovely Prince Taehyung, but they are not on horses"

Wendy lifted her head back up as we walked closer to them, Prince Hoseok noticed us first and pointed it out to Taehyung that Wendy is his soon-to-be wife, They walked on with each other leaving me with Taehyung. I started walking with Taehyung beside me, there was no conversation, can you blame me? I'm beside the prince, soon King.

We walked closer to the village and heard a lot of shouting. When the village came more into view, we can see people running away from dark cloaked people, my eyes widened as I remembered that they have been here before. At the Palace and at Prince Jungkook's palace.
