Chapter 38

Taehyung walked me into what I remember as his bedroom.

As I was going towards the sofa Taehyung quickly turned me around.

"Hey, you want get a comfortable sleep on the bed, come on let's rest..."

I smiled as we lay down on the bed, he caressed my head as I leaned closer to him, wrapping my hands around him.

Slowly we both fell asleep.

Turning over, I felt my eyes open as I couldn't feel Taehyung beside me anymore. Sitting up in the bed, I noticed him sitting beside the fire, smiling towards me.

"How was your sleep darling?", he smiled.

I felt butterflies in my stomach as I beamed in happiness. Shuffling towards the end of the bed I make my way off of it and towards him.

Standing In front of Taehyung, he took my hands as he looked out the window.

"I've a feeling you might be staying here for the night..." He smirked.

I smiled as I leaned down towards him.

"I wonder if you planned this prince?", I smiled as I brushed my nose against his before sitting down beside him.

"Uh uh, it's king now darling, you should know that...", he smiled as he looked into the fire.

I chuckled as I watched him stand up, walking behind me.

"Come on, I'll find us something to do", he said motioning towards his hand.

I smile, taking it and standing up.

Walking through the hallways, hand in hand, Taehyung told a servant that Y/n would be staying for tonight as he took her towards one of the many drawing rooms.

Sitting her down by the fire as he poured her a cup of tea, she looked into the fire before her gaze was turned towards the book that was placed on her lap.

"You told me how much you wanted to read if, so I asked to get it for you", he smiled.

Y/n stood up as she hugged Taehyung, laughing in happiness.

"You didn't have to, Thankyou so much!", she squealed as she hugged him tighter.

"Anything for you darling", Taehyung said, looking into her eyes lovingly.

"Your room is right beside Taehyung's, though I doubt you'll be using it", Taehyung's Eomma smiled as she walked past them down the hall.

Y/n blushed as she looked down at the floor, Taehyung walked her towards her room.

"Goodnight", I smiled.

Taehyung looked down at my as he gave my cheek a peck before walking away from the room.

I sigh, as I walk towards the bed, picking up the beautiful nightgown that was laid out in the bed.

I changed into it and washed my face, getting into bed as I felt sleep overcome me...
