Chapter 29

You shuffled around in the bed, moving away from the sun that beamed through the white cloth of the tent. You instantly turn back as the other side was too warm. As you turn back to your original side, someone enters the tent, letting in the natural light, causing you to place your hand in front of your eyes.

As your eyes adjust, you open them to see Taehyung standing with your dress and what looked like breakfast. You smile as you sit up in the bed. Taehyung places your dress on the end of the bed as he knelt down beside you placing the silver plate down on the ground.

Y/n

"How did you sleep?"

Taehyung asks, rubbing the top of my head. I close my eyes, enjoying his touch.

"It was alright until the sun came up..."

I say, my sleep was broken after I started to hear the horses as they were being fed and cleaned up. Taehyung nodded as he stood up, waking over to the entrance of the tent.

"Well I will leave you now to get changed, I will be right outside if you need me"

Taehyung gave me a warming smile before stepping out of the tent, leaving me alone again. Sighing, I stand up, looking down at the shirt Taehyung had given me, I hadn't noticed how tall Taehyung was until now, His short ends just at the top of my knees. I walk to get my dress, putting the bottom half on before taking off the top, it made me feel more safe.

I folded up Taehyung's shirt, placing it on the bed that I straightened out after eating the food Taehyung gave me. I look to the entrance of the tent, noticing Taehyung's figure, standing and talking to someone. I exit the tent, looking over at Taehyung who dismisses the man he was talking to and walks over to me.

"Are you ready to go?"

Taehyung asks as another man walks towards him with his horse, I nod, looking around at men deconstructing their tents, I look back at the one I slept in to see some men working to take it apart.

I turn my head back around as Taehyung walks me over to the horse, placing his hands around my waist as he assists me onto the horse before getting on himself. I body lays back into his chest as the horse starts to move. I feel Taehyung body move over to the right before he places a blanket on my lap. Looking up at him, he smiles down at me.

"I wouldn't want you to get cold now would I?"

I smile as Taehyung looks back up at his surroundings. I feel my senses becoming alert as we enter a forest. The tree's dimming out most of the light only letting the sun paint little squiggles on the ground. As Taehyung is one of the first in the group, meaning he is at the start of the long line of horses that trot though this forest.

"Who is ruling while your here?"

I ask, only remembering that there is currently nobody on the throne right now since Taehyung is here. Taehyung looks down at you, smiling.

"My parents are, you can meet them when we are back..."

My eyes widen as my mouth drops...did he say that I was going to meet the King and Queen that ruled when I was growing up....

"h-how are my parents?"

I ask, still trying to get over what Taehyung had told me, Taehyung looks at me again, before looking up the trees.

"We have been taking care of them, don't worry, they are both safe" 

Taehyung bent down, kissing the top of my head as the horse started to sprint further through the forest...

A Week Later...

Third person

Taehyung sat beside you at the river, he had told you that this was the last rest before you were back on a ship and on your way back to Korea. You had also bathed in the river before you had supper, after supper Taehyung took you back here to relax.

The calming rippling of the water helped to relax your mind that was too busy for the past month. Taehyung slid his arm around your shoulder as he pulled you closer to him, making you look into his eyes. Using the hand that wasn't on your waist he brushed away a strand of your hair as he leaned closer to your face closing any gap there was between you two. You close your eyes as you felt his soft lips on yours, they moulded perfectly together like it was meant to be, your hands wrap around his neck, bringing him closer as you felt electricity flowing through your body. You pull away as you run out of air, your foreheads resting on each other as you caught your breaths.

Just as Taehyung went to caress your cheek a soldier came running towards the both of you shouting, causing you both to jump up in alertness. The soldier stopped, bending over, panting while trying to catch his breath.

"Your Highness, Prince Jungkook is missing!"

You look over at Taehyung who looks Justas shocked as you do. Grabbing your hand, Taehyung walks you both back to the main tent at a fast pace. You both walk past the bed and to the table where Namjoon and Hoseok stood with worried faces...
