Chapter 40

You had woken up in a good mood as you opened your windows, letting in the fresh smell of the flowers and the warm breeze which danced through your room.

Taking yourself down the stairs, you greeted your parents for breakfast in the kitchen where they sat across from each other. Your father was busy reading a newspaper from this morning, telling you he had either been out on his walk or had a servant fetch it for him. You smiled as you placed a kiss on his forehead before sitting down at the end of the table where your food was waiting. You had noticed your mother was wearing her favourite dress and that there was free flowers in every vase, however you hadn't picked any since two days ago. You put your questions behind you as you began to eat your food.

"How are you this morning dear?"

Your mother smiled as she walked towards the sink with her things, she looked at you before opening up the windows.

"Fine mother, I'll run the errand today... I didn't finish them yesterday"

"That's fine sweetheart, why don't you pick us up a treat since it's the weekend?"

She smiled to me as she handed me an extra coin, I smiled as I kissed her cheek while standing up with my dishes. I placed them in the sink as I bowed to the servant and thanked her for the meal.

I made my way towards the hall where I got my basked and list of things to do as I walked towards the door which was already open thanks to mother. I smiled and made my way towards the square. The sound of people laughing and horses and carts crunching on the gravel as I got closer to the square. I smiled towards the baker as he was setting out his new pastriess for the day.

I didn't have much to do, so I spent time searching through the bakery for a treat for the family tonight. I smiled as I set my eyes on a tray of muffins that mother used to get me and Wendy when we wee younger. I smiled as I called out for the baker, asking for a small amount of them.

I left the bakery happy as he had given me a few extra for no extra charge, I mean I am good to him so I guess he was being polite.

I made my way back towards the house as I noticed the children started to make their way towards the greenery with their friends.

I closed the door behind me as I made my way towards the kitchen with my basket of muffins and other things in hand. I smiled as I found Taehyung standing there beside my mother with a large basket resting infant of him on the table. I placed my basket on the table as the servant quickly Tok it away to be sorted.

"Goodmorning Y/n"

H smiled widely at me, gosh...I just love his smile. it could make me happy no matter what was going wrong.

"Hello Taehyung..."

I smile as I come closer to the table, dusting off my dress.

"If your not busy, I would like to take you out for a picnic?"

He motioned towards the basket on the table. I smile and nod my head before I could get any words out.

"Ofcoarse, I'm completely free for today unless there is anything you want me to do?"

I ask looking towards my parents who were already smiling at me...weird

"No sweetheart, not anything I can think of...go out and enjoy the sun"

I nod and thank them as I follow Taehyung out the door.

As we were walking down the road, Taehyung tell me we are going to a field close to the village which has a great view of the river and meadows below. I smile to myself as he carries the basket, there is something just so sweet about it that I can't explain...

We had finally made out way to the Field, the grass wasn't high, but it wasn't cut so it wasn't itchy. I helped Taehyung lay out the blanket that he had brought. Sitting down we both took a moment to enjoy the warm breeze as it flowed past our faces and through our hair. Taehyung unbuttoned his waistcoat, letting himself relax more as He opened the basket.

"I don't know exactly what is in here, I just asked them for picnic food..."

He shyly admitted as he began to take out the food, my mouth was watering at the different assortment of foods and treats that was aid out before my eyes. I couldn't wait to dig in. Taehyung uncovered the food as we began to indulge in the delights that were infant of us.

Wr had sandwiches, grapes, pastries, cookies, tarts, cordial, sliced vegetables. We had eaten almost everything and were out to explode as we rested ourselves on the blanket.

I lay my head down on his lap as Taehyung sat back with one elbow supporting him as he sipped his drink. I smiled as I looked up at him.

"This was a very delightful lunch, thank you Taehyung"

I smiled as I close my eyes, resting my hands over my stomach that was on full capacity.

"I like treating you Y/n, your special to me"

I felt his lips against my forehead as his hand was now running through my a=hair. I felt myself smiling and to the brim with happiness, this man makes me so incredibly happy.

"Look at that, you're blushing", He smiled.

"Isn't the view amazing, how peaceful it looks?"

I asked as I sat up a bit, now resting against his upper body, the back of my head against his chest.

"It's so calming...and enlightening, I'm so happy I found it for today..."

I smiled as I let my hand hold his as it went through my hair.

After feeling him moving, I sit up and turn towards him. He stands up, Holding out a hand for me. I smile, taking his hand as I brush down the dress.

I turn to look at him as I wrap my hands around is neck, moving closer to him.

He held the back of my neck, as he softly pulled me closer. I smiled as I felt our lips connecting as we had a passionate kiss for the first time in a while. I felt soaks flying through my body as he held me, the love running through us. I let out a breath as he pulled away, looking happily into my eyes.

He turned me around so my back was facing his chest as he kept a hand on my waist. His thumb slowly going up and down as he spike gently to me.

"It was 1million to one that we were going to meet, and we did and it was the best thing that could have ever happened to me...I wouldn't change anything about, to me you are perfect..."

I felt my body stuffed as I turned around and seen Taehyung...on one knee looking up at me with eyes bursting with love...I felt my eyes become teary as adrenaline began to rush through my body...

"and when I'm with you, I'm the best version of me, I love you very much, probably more than anyone can ever love a person...through everything...all I want is you...it will always be you..."
