jacob and i are cuddled up on my couch watching some random movie on hulu. were both anxiously awaiting the call from the producers and i finally get it

"hey ada it's greg" he says

"hey" i say

"so we looked over your schedule and were going to make it work. after seeing you read for her today there really is no one else we see better in this role so the job is yours" he says happily

"oh my god thank you" i say trying not to scream and i hit jacob multiple times to indicate i got the part

"we got all your information down in the books so we will contact you with schedules and other information soon! we sent the first scene script to you so you can read it over. have a good night" he says

"you too thank you again" i say hanging up

"i got it!" i yell as i stand up on the couch jumping around and jacob laughs as he films

"sit your ass down that couch is new" jc says from the top of the stairs

"I GOT THE PART JC" i scream

"we get it you're more successful than us" he says sarcastically as he walks down stairs

"congrats addy" he says giving me a hug

"why are yall yelling" crawford says coming out from his room

"adz got the part on supergirl" jc says

"ADA THAT MEANS WE GET TO MEET MORE COOL PEOPLE" crawford yells as he runs down stairs hugging me

"glad you're proud of me" i say laughing

"i am. you're not even 20 and you've accomplished things people spend their whole lives trying to. you earned it and were more than proud" crawford says

"crawford john don't make me cry" i say and we all laugh

"congrats babe" jacob says giving me a kiss

"thank you" i say smiling

"so how is that even gonna work?" jc asks

"yeah where do they film?" crawford asks

"Vancouver" i say sighing knowing they didn't know that

"AYE CANADA" crawford says

"wait no... canada" he says sadly his whole posture changing

"y-yeah..." i say awkwardly

" are you even ever gonna be here in LA? moving between ATL and now YVR?" jc asks

"well... theres only like a couple of weeks that the two show schedules cross over..." i say

"oh that's good, we barley get anytime with you as is" jc says

"are you nervous to be on a set with a bunch of older people" jacob asks

"um not... really. i mean i kinda forgot the entire cast is in there 30's or older." i say getting a little bit more nervous

"itll be good though, this show is huge it's good exposure for you as well" jacob says kissing my head

we all just hung around for the rest of the night and jacob slept over. this was the last day of my not insanely busy life. i love my job but i just hope working this hard all the time is worth loosing some time with my loved ones.

ok guys I'm so sorry i haven't updated in a while. i had no clue what to do with this chapter which is why it's so short but i have a huge story line for this and it's gonna start next chapter with a time jump! I'm gonna write in rn and it will be out in a few hours.
