Chapter 9 Reunions and Rescues

After around a week all of Ash's friends arrived, including Gary.

"Thank you all for coming!" Ash exclaimed happily.

"It's nothing." Brock said.

"We want to help you save that 'friend' of yours." Misty teased while adding air quotes.

Ash was beyond confused with the air quotes.

"Who is this "someone special" to you anyway?" May asked.

Ash chuckled nervously.

"She is a Pokemon Performer and a great friend." Ash explained. "To be honest we had a big fight before she was captured and its all my fault. Her name is Serena Yvonne. I met her while I was at Professor Oak's Summer Camp when I was eight. I traveled with her through Kalos with Clemont and Bonnie and she cheered me on louder than anyone else ever has."

"Hold on!" May demanded. "Did you say Serena Yvonne?!"

Ash nodded slowly.

"We met her in Hoenn!" Dawn exclaimed.

"Oh cool!" Ash said.

He then heard someone clearing their throat behind him. He looked behind him and saw Gou and Chloe.

"Are you going to introduce us or?" Chloe asked.

"Oops." Ash said nervously. "Everyone this is Gou and Chloe. Together we do research at the Cerise Laboratory and Chloe... Well she goes to school which is cool! They are dating and are some really good friends! Gou caught Suicune too while Chloe has a Yamper and an Eevee!"

Gary was immediately intrigued when he heard Gou caught Suicune. He jumped in and started asking tons of questions which Gou tried his best to answer. Eventually Ash had to calm Gary down.

"It's time to go save us a Serena!" Ash shouted.

"Let's go!" Ash and Gou shouted at the same time.

Chloe sweatdropped while everyone else looked confused.

"It happens every time they go somewhere." Chloe explained.

With Serena 

Serena was talking with Aurora before lights out.

"I have been here for over a week!" Serena shouted. "Maybe Ash, Gou and Chloe are not coming to save me..."

"Serena trust me." Aurora said. "He will come."

Serena shook her head and looked down.

"Last time we saw each other we had a fight." Serena explained. "We both said some awful things and it ended in me saying that I hate him... It broke him. He ran off for a month because he had an Aura vision of us all being dead. He ran off to protect us but when he got back I pushed him away after he got back. Its my fault that I am here."

Aurora patted Serena's shoulder.

"I might not know by brother personally, but what I saw on the surveillance tapes just makes me know he will do whatever it takes to get you back."

Serena nodded and put on a weak smile.

"I hope your right." Serena said softly.

Just then the lights turned off and Aurora smiled.

"Show time." Aurora said.

Serena giggled and followed along as Aurora led the way down the hall to the surveillance room. Once they arrived Aurora sat down in a chair next to a computer.
