Somewhere on the island, Giovanni was talking to some of his grunts.

"Boss, are you sure Ketchum is here?" One of them asked.

"Positive, except we need to lure him out." Giovanni responded. "We need to get rid of the one he loves most."

"That Psychic girl?" Another grunt asked.

Giovanni shook his head.

"We need to get rid of the one who gave him life."

"You?" Another grunt asked.

"Why do I even try..." Giovanni muttered. "We need to kill his mother. That will drag him out."

With Ash on the battlefield

"This is the battle between Aaron and Goh!" The ref exclaimed. "Three on three, you may switch Pokemon. Battle begin!"

"Charizard, I choose you!" Ash/Aaron exclaimed.

"Suicune!" Goh commanded.

Underneath his mask, Ash smiled.

"Going all in are we?" Ash asked to Goh.

"I want to have a battle I can be proud of, for Ash of course!" Goh responded cheerfully.

Ash nodded.

"Charizard, test out your strength by using Flamethrower!" Ash commanded.

"Suicune, Ice Beam!" Goh commanded.

The attacks collided and exploded in the middle.

"Charizard, rush in the use Dragon Claw!" Ash commanded.

Charizard flew forwards and attempted to strike Suicune.

"Suicune, counter with Iron Tail!" Goh exclaimed.

Suicune blocked the Dragon Claw then stood his ground.

"Nice that you caught it, but now you cant move without getting hit." Ash chuckled.

Goh realized Ash/Aaron was right and panicked.

"Charizard, Thunderpunch!"

Charizard used his other hand to punch Suicune in the face with the super effective move. Because of the hit Suicune slipped a little, causing the Dragon Claw to break through the Iron Tail, resulting in Dragon Claw also hitting Suicune. Suicune went flying through the air until he landed on the ground, fainted. Goh returned Suicune and sent out his next Pokemon...

"Moltres, come on out!"

Surprisingly, Ash returned Charizard.

"Bulbasaur, whip that bird until he is nothing but chicken strips!"

Everybody in the crowd laughed, except for Clemont, Bonnie and Serena.

"You guys noticed what he did the Suicune, right?" Clemont asked them.

"H-he used the same type of thing Ash did against Bunnleby." Bonnie muttered.

Bulbasaur tackled his trainer down and licked him. Once he stopped Bulbasaur smirked.

"Alright Bulbasaur, you cant have any barbecued chicken without some healthy salad!" Ash exclaimed.

Bulbasaur shot a powerful Razor Leaf at Moltres making direct contact. Moltres winced but kept his ground.

"Bulbasaur, keep up the pressure with Tackle!"

Bulbasaur leapt forwards and hit Moltres again, however Moltres just flung Bulbasaur back with his beak.
