Chapter 10 Dread It, Run From It

With Ash In The Hall Of Origin

"Arceus?" Ash asked.

"Yes chosen one?" Arceus responds in a thunderous but calming voice.

"I was wondering when I get to go home?" Ash asked nervously. "My Aura has improved significantly over the last two years and I am aging but I miss my home. I miss travelling and having fun. I miss being in life threatening situations."

Arceus nodded.

"You have a mission to complete on Earth anyway." Arceus started. "Team Flare and Team Rocket have started teaming up. I need you to go down and stop them."

Ash smiled and nodded.

"I will get to see my friends again!" Ash shouted happily.

"Just be careful Chosen One." Arceus said. "It could cause more harm then good. I am not predicting the future I am just warning you that pain could be inflicted on such a dangerous mission."

Ash lowered his head a little and frowned.

"I understand." Ash said. "I will keep a bit far from them but I will need Pikachu by my side."

"Easier said than done my boy." Arceus chuckled. "You told your Pokemon to protect Serena."

Ash sighed and looked up.

'This will be hard.' Ash thought.

"In order to get Pikachu back you will go under cover as a man named Satoshi." Arceus explained. "But you must be careful. Pikachu can smell things for miles."

Ash nodded.

"Goodbye Chosen One." Arceus said. "Good luck."

Ash was transported back to Earth in the blink of an eye.

Lumiose City Apartment Complex

Ash was soon outside the door of Serena's apartment room. He took a deep breath, put on his mask and knocked on the door. After a few seconds the honey blonde was at the door with Pikachu on her shoulder and Lucario, Charizard and Greninja behind her.

"Hello?" Serena asked.

Ash realized he was in a daze and snapped out of it as fast as he could.

"Uh sorry." Ash chuckled nervously. "I am Satoshi, a relative of Ash's."

Serena looked a little suspicious but shook his hand.

"Nice to meet you Satoshi." Serena said.

Pikachu sniffed the air and smiled. He leapt at Ash while smiling and nuzzled his cheek.

"Pika! (Ash!)" Pikachu shouted.

Charizard, Greninja and Lucario were upset that Pikachu thought that Satoshi was Ash. They grabbed him and dragged him away while scolding him.

"So what do you need Satoshi?" Serena asked.

Ash was now shaking.

"Uhh... It's nothing! Sorry for bothering you!"

Ash ran off very fast and into the streets of Lumiose.

With Pikachu 

"Pikachu what was that?!" Charizard asked me angrily.

"Let me go Lucario, that's Ash!" Pikachu shouted.

"Master has been dead for two years Pikachu!" Lucario growled.

"It smells like him!" Pikachu yelled.
