Paint My Mind

Like 21st century
It was fast-paced, the release from reality.
I don't know why
And I wonder, why?

I was looking at a painting.
A landscape and waterscape with two persons standing.
In a sudden, the painting started moving.
I was like watching a muted video of a man and a woman walking.

When it was static, in front of the woman are two holes.
When it was dynamic, stepping one's feet and making it to the islet are one's goals.
I have seen that there is an aisle of sand but then it is not.
A path of danger, of traps, made of plastic or glass? And that one I forgot.

The first moment I got back,
I recalled what happened in the past.
And the second time, my memory was distorted,
I can barely remember the last.

I have seen and I have watched a mysterious and moving painting.
And I find it fascinating.
The colors, the surrounding, and the scene was captivating.
Although, bewilderment was growing.

A shining light beneath the boulder
Made me thought of a passing timer.
Considering the people who are struggling to be at the center.
An unusual passage they would likely enter.

A body of water, so blue, that could be a lake
Made me thought of someone who could be at stake.
Considering the struggles I concluded and the troubles I made.

I wish, I could have an encounter with the painting again
Even I know it is impossible to begin.
Yet with this one I am certain,
It is a message containing a meaning.
