By choice or by chance?

Harry was pulled in the drive way. I scurried because it was freaking freezing. I hopped into the passenger seat and kept my calm composure. He pulled out of the driveway and started driving down the street.

"Out with it Harry, what's on your mind?" He looked at me for a few seconds, then looked back at the road.

"I don't want to break up. I want us to be together, forever. Don't you feel the same?" He stopped the car in front of a drive in movie. I haven't seen one of these in years. I've actually never been to one.

"I suppose so." He tried to reach my hand to hold it but I laced my hands together.

"Ally, I was there for you when Zayn left. I was there because I loved you. Nothing's changed, I still love you."

"Everything's changed. You love me, but you're not in love with me." I felt a tear run down my check and I quickly wiped it. I didn't need to cry, I knew this day was going to come. It always does, doesn't it? Falling out of love is just as easy as falling in love. A lesson I should have learned years ago.

"No, I am in love with you. Why do you assume things instead of asking? What makes you think I'm not in love with you?"

"I don't assume, you've clearly just proven how right I was. You cheated on me and lied to me. I know I'm no saint, but there wasn't a second that goes by that I don't think about you. Face it, we both don't need a relationship right now. Go find another girl to settle down with because its not going to be me." I folded my arms and looked out at the night sky. All the stars twinkling, as a kid my mom always told me 'No one falls in love by choice, it is by chance. No one stays in love by chance, it is by work. No one falls out of love by chance, it is by choice.' Now I realize what she meant.

"And I was right too." He put his head on the steering wheel and covered his eyes, was he seriously using the water works right now?

"Right about what?" He picked his head up and wiped his eyes along with the tears off his cheeks. He started the car the car and begun driving.

"I'm thinking about moving away.." He stopped the car and turned to look at me.

"I'm thinking of admitting myself to a mental hospital." My phone vibrated and I peeked at it and saw it was Zayn.

"Ally.." He said as I was about to get out of the car.

"Yeah?"

"I love you.."

"I love you too." I got out and walked to Zayn's front door.

Maybe I should get my own tv show. It'd be a must watch.
