What He Truly Wants

One cold night, while looking at the stars I heard someone running from behind. No matter how bad I wanted to keep my eyes looking at my favorite scenery, I felt the need to look back— and so I did. I saw a man and he's running towards the seashore, I tried to stop him. I shouted and shouted repeatedly for I think that he's unconscious and he's not aware of what will happen if he continue running there. I tried my best— to stop him, to explain what will happen if he would not listen but he told me that he has his own reasons— I cried.

For I can't— I won't allow myself to see that kind of incident, I turned back. He knew very well what the consequences will be but he chose it— to bravely face those and I have no right to interfere. I just wished,  while looking up that it'll bring him happiness, for it is what he truly wants.
