Airport Pick Ups

As the doors opened and a lot of passengers returning from abroad came through, he immediately spotted the brunette and she immediately spotted him.

Despite leaving 5 weeks ago she missed him like hell. She knew it was stupid to just pack everything up and leave when things got tough but she was back now.

Rushing towards him she dropped her bag and collapsed into his waiting arms; emily wrapped her arms around his neck and looked at him lovingly .When they kissed it was like the world stopped. They were pulled out of their kiss when people started clapping as if they knew.

"God I missed you" she half laughed half cried as she hugged him tightly

"I missed you too. So much. And don't you dare apologise. What happened is over and in the past" he told her kissing her once more before letting her down so she could stand in her own two feet

"Can we go pick up Jack?" She asked hopefully

"Of course" he smiled taking her bag in one hand and her hand with his other

"Mommy!" He yelled once he saw her. Running as fast as the 4 year old could

"I missed you Jack Attack" Emily laughed and kissed his cheeks making him giggle

"I missed you too momma" Jack told her clinging to her

"Wanna go get some ice cream?" She asked

"Are you staying?" He asked innocently as they drove

"I'm staying Jack" she smiled.

Truely, she felt guilty for leaving but she felt like she had no choice. They had been fighting for months on end. She just had to get away. However she was back now. And she was back for good.

That night after they tucked Jack into his bed and Emily assured him that she'd be there is the morning the couple returned to their bed room. As sweet and kind as always, Aaron helped her pack her clothes back and helped do the laundry.

Emily was sitting outside on the balcony when she felt a pair of sting and muscular arms wrap around her waist as the seat sunk further. Turning around she placed the gentlest kiss on his lips. He happily returned the kiss, having missed her soft lips, he sighed contently. They both settled underneath a thick blanket covering their shivering bodies as they watched the stars decorate the dark sky.

"Take me to bed" she whispered sleepily

"Anything for you" Aaron joked and moved from behind her, picking her up he laid her down on the bed and went to shut the door leading outside. When he returned he smiled at Emily's sleeping figure that was still on top of the comforter. In the same spot he left her a matter of seconds ago. Sliding her under the cover he climbed in behind her and held her close. Whispering his love and gratitude for her, he placed a soft kiss on her shoulder blade and pulled her lean frame closer towards his body, he fell asleep shortly after.
