Hotchniss One-Shots

Surprise

"Miss Prentiss, there are two gentlemen coming to you're door" the voice of Johnny her doorman informed her

Groaning she got up off her couch with a heavy sigh, she had had a long day at work and she missed her family terribly.

"I swear to god" she mumbled right before she opened the door

"You swear to god what?" He asked jokingly his eyebrows bouncing up as he smiled

Her heart raced, as a huge smile graced her face and tears of joy filled her eyes

"Em-" he couldn't even finish before she threw her arms around him

"What... what, what are you doing here?"emily asked, enjoying the feeling of his hands of her waist

"We came to visit you silly" Jacks voice came as he jumped into view from behind the large pot plant

"Oh look at you" Emily beamed picking the boy up

"I'm six" he told her giving her a toothy smile

"I missed you guys so much" Emily told them, wrapping her arm around Hotch as she held his son

"We missed you too Em" Aaron replied squeezing her side

"Come in, please"

After a dinner, and a movie Jack had fallen asleep on Emily, cuddled into her side with his hand twisted in her hair
"So Miss Interpol" Aaron smiled

"Aaron. Before you say anything, I need to know what you're doing here, I can't get hurt again. It took me too long to recover" Emily told him seriously

She had avoided this conversation for the last 3 hours but now that it was just them she needed to know

"I.." he stuttered and before he could answer Jack woke up

"Hey buddy, why don't you go sleep in the guest room?" Emily suggested

Giving him a light smile, Emily led Jack to the room and returned shortly after, this time with two glasses of white wine.

"Emily" he started, taking one of her hands
"When you left, for Paris I didn't realise how much I would miss you until Jack started asking for you constantly. So I replaced the original with a copy"

"That copy being Beth?" It came across more accusingly that she had hoped

"Yeah" he sighed sadly
"But that's not the point, I know that I'm a perfect world the guy gets the girl, and I completely understand that the chances of that happening tonight isn't very big either" Aaron stopped and removed the wine glass from her hand and placed it on the coaster next to his.
Taking her other hand in his, he continued
"But, I'm hoping that you will give me chance to show you how sorry I am" he looked into her eyes before adding
"And how much I love you"

Aaron swallowed thickly when she didn't answer, only staring out the window ahead, she  had a slight smile on her face. That's a good thing right? He thought

"Em? Talk to me please. What are you thinking about?" He asked pulling her closer to him so that she was almost in his lap

Turning her head she said " I'm just thinking what Jacks would react if he saw me kissing his daddy" Emily told him biting her lip

"I think he would be okay with it" Aaron said almost shyly

"Yeah?"

"Yeah" he confirmed

"Well in that case" she closed the distance between them, grabbing him by the collar and kissing him passionately, she put more love and desire into the kiss that she did when they shared one nearly over 3 years ago on a drunken night

"I love you too" she whispered against his lips when she pulled away slightly
"So much" Emily added, smiling when he did, her thumbs running over the dimples on his cheeks

The new couple cuddled close to each other as they started a new movie, he would occasionally place kisses in her hair and she would squeeze his hand in return

"You ready for bed?" He questioned as she yawned when the credits started rolling

"Yeah" Emily replied switching off the TV

"Are you going to make me sleep in the guest bedroom too?" Aaron asked her with a smirk on his face

"Not a chance" Emily replied after kissing his again
"Come on" she dragged him along by the hand

"Emily" he stopped her, seeing she was confused by his tone he went on
"Thank you for giving me a chance" Aaron smiled gratefully

"You're very welcome"

"Does the team know you're here?" Emily asked later that night as they laid pressed together with her back to his chest

"Yeah, and no. They know that Jack and I took a trip, they don't know we're too" He replied

"Garcia has probably already looked at you're credit cards" Emily said smiling
"How are they?" She added before yawning

"We can talk more tomorrow sweetheart, you tired me out" Hotch told her squeezing her hip slightly

"You're not up for another challenge old man?" Emily joked turning in his arms so she could straddle him

"Of course I am" Aaron answered flipping them so her was hovering over her
A loud moan escaped her mouth as he slid into her

"I love you" he repeated to her before all talking stopped for the time being
