I blink a few times and sit up, only to feel the room spin. I instantly regret my decision as I rub my aching temples to ease the throbbing headache. I look around and see Killian sprawled on the bed watching TV with no care in the world.
"How are you even functional after last night?" I ask, my voice coming out hoarse.
"I drank a lot of water." He replies a little too loudly making me wince.
He chuckles shaking his head before handing me a bottle of water and two pills before averting his gaze back to the screen. I swallow the pills and gulp down the water to ease my dry throat. I place the bottle on the nightstand and let myself fall back, pulling the covers over my body and wrapping my arm around my eyes to shelter them from the sun.
"How are you feeling?"
"Like I got a hammer in my head." I mutter.
He pulls me into him despite my numerous protests before pressing a kiss on my temple. "Well, we still have some time before our dinner with everyone." He says, tracing my spine with his fingers.
"Umm...we could tour around."
"Sure."
I unwrap myself from him and get out of the bed, heading to the bathroom. Killian lets out a whistle making me turn around to find him watching me intensely as he walks towards me. Looking down, I groan when I realize I'm wearing one of his shirts and it's not doing a great job at covering up.
"Behave."
He doesn't reply and watches me intensely, probably debating on what to do. He finally lets out a sigh and pulls me towards the balcony. Stepping onto the balcony, I let out a squeal at the view in front of me. Not only can you see the ocean from here, but there's also a table with breakfast right next to us. I turn to look Killian who gives me a knowing smile.
"I take it you like the view." He says as he pulls out a chair for me.
I lean in and place a kiss on his cheek before sitting down. "I like the one right across from me at even more."
"You're really looking for trouble today, aren't you?"
"Am I succeeding?"
"Barely."
"Too bad." I shrug, popping a strawberry in my mouth.
He lets out a laugh, shaking his head and we dive into another conversation as we dig in into the succulent breakfast.
