I gulp down the last part of my protein shake and head back to our room to- check on Zahra who's probably still sleeping. Right as I open the door, I come across Zahra holding her stomach in pain, her head laying between her raised knees as she sits on the bed.
I raise a brow. "Hey, you okay?"
She tenses up before throwing the sheets off her, sitting up on the side of the bed, her hands in her hair. She looks tired, her hair is messy, and she has dark bags under her eyes.
"Baby, talk to me."
She stands and walks towards the bathroom, shutting the door behind her. I move from my spot on the bed, strolling towards the bathroom. "Are you okay in there?"I ask, knocking gently on the door.
"Leave me alone."
"Okay I'm coming in, y—"
I am cut off by the door opening and revealing my beautiful girlfriend, her eyes puffy from crying. She walks towards me and wraps her arms around my waist. She turns her head, leaning backwards to get a better look at me.
"It hurts." She whines.
"Is it your period? Stomach flu? Ovulation? PMS?" I ask with a worried expression.
"Just go for a drive or something." She snaps, instantly regretting it as she winces, holding her stomach.
Zahra POV
"Come here."
I slowly start making my way towards him, biding time with every step. Killian pinches the bridge of his nose before letting out a tired sigh. I can tell he's not joking anymore.
"Baby, come here.| He repeats sternly, making his statement an order.
I quicken my pace and when I reach him, he holds out his hand. I take it hesitantly only for him to pull me into his embrace, wrapping his arms around my waist. He engulfs me into a hug, stroking my lower back gently.
"I'm sorry." I mumble into his chest.
He chuckles leaving a kiss on the top of my head before walking into the lounge area to get his keys and wallet. He comes back and helps me stand before pushing me through the door.

Minutes later, here I am, sitting on one of the chairs outside a café waiting for Killian to bring my chamomile tea while whining in pain. The painkillers we got are either not effective or they haven't kicked in cause I still feel the pain from the civil war in my uterus and back. He comes back soon after with our drinks and placing my tea in front of me before settling in the seat next to mine.
He had lifted his hoodie over his long hair to avoid being recognized but he failed miserably because people still come up to him and took pictures with him.
"Are you feeling better?"
"I am going to die." I groan as the pain intensifies.
"You've said that like ten times." He pulls me into him and I wrap my arms around his waist, leaning my head against his shoulder as his hand rubs my back in a soothing motion.
"Not helping."
"Anyways, I went inside the café and struggled to find a vegan drink.| He sighs as he helps me stand. "I got a Cinnamon Dolce Frappuccino without the whipped cream and used almond milk."
"Are you cutting off Nutella too? Cause I don't think it's vegan." I laugh.
"This is harder than I thought it would be."
