I look around to see a few people holding cameras taking pictures and I turn my gaze back and settle inside the car where we find Killian already seated. Marcus steps in and starts the car, turning the radio on before driving out of the parking lot with SZA's majestic vocals in the background.
'Got another side of me, I like to get it poppin'
But these bitches in my business got me outchea choosin' violence
If you see me out in public, you don't know me, keep it silent
In the bedroom, I be screamin', but outside, I keep it quiet
"You be screaming for sure." Killian chuckle, shake his head, clearly amused as I sing along, raising my mic —my phone in this case, higher to continue.
'Keep it on the lowski, I'm the lowest of the lowest
Wanna see if you can keep it like nobody knows shit'
"You wanna stay here and finish the song or you wanna come take a walk?" Killian interrupts with a light chuckle.
I was so engrossed in my little performance that I didn't even notice he was holding the door for me. I step out of the car and he closes the door.
"Such a good song you know."
"I could tell." Killian shakes his head and grabs my hand, leading me toward the beach.
I stare at him and take in his features as his gaze focuses on the reflection of the moon on the sea as we walk. Sensing eyes on him, he turns slightly and looks at me. I blink, before averting my gaze elsewhere in an almost self-conscious manner.
"So, what did you take in college?"
"Aerodynamics Engineering. You?"
"Astrophysics."
I gasp, giving him an incredulous look. "You're kidding!"
"I literally get that same reaction every time." He chuckles before averting his eyes to look ahead. "Why is it so surprising? Do I look dumb or something?"
"On the contrary, you're a little genius." I laugh, nudging his side.
"I know." He smirks.
"Anyways, what's your favorite thing to watch?"
"I spend hours watching cartoons; the older the better." He replies, earning another point for him in my book. "Although, I've been watching a lot of anime lately."
Another point. "Which one are you currently watching?"
"Attack on Titan."
"Impressive! Do you think it's way too long too or is it just me?"
"Yeah, a little bit. What's your favorite?"
"Naruto Shippuden."
"A classic." He replies, giving me a satisfied look.
I hum in agreement. "We should probably head home."
"That excited to get your hands me, huh?" He smirks earning a glare from me. "Alright, alright. Let's go."

Unknown POV
My eyes wander to look at the glass window admiring the beautiful city of Tokyo at night. It feels weird to have Nova give me the silent treatment but I guess we can't have everything we want in this life.
I knock on her door and hear her melodious voice allowing me an entrance. I open the door and walk in to find sitting on her bed.
"Hey."
"Hey." She mumbles, not taking her eyes off her laptop.
I place the plate with cookies and the glass of milk I came win with on the table before sitting on the bed. "I know you're not happy with me at the moment but I promise this will be over soon."
"It's not over until she says it is." She replies, pausing to look at me. "You know damn well she'll want revenge and she sure as hell won't go easy on you just because you share the same blood."
"I just need you to be patient and trust that I have everything under control."
"What are you going to do next?"
"Just trust me." I reassure.
