Marinette's POV

Luckily, the man didn't even bother to get my finger prints or picture. That surprised me. I also feel really bad that I got Chloe into this.

He was looking at me, like I was supposed to feel intimidated. I wanted to burst out into laughter. He things he is scary to a girl who sees hundreds of people die at her feet, then be brought back to life, every day? Nope. I am surprised about Chloe though- you know, how she keeps flinching like she's scared. When we get home today, she is going to be furious. He looked like he recognized me from the news. I wonder how many people saw that. "Where do you live?" the guy asked.

I thought of something, so I said it. It might cheer Chloe up. "With my parents," I said, fighting a smirk.

"Where do your parents live?"

"With me."

"Where do you guys live?"

"Together."

"ENOUGH! Where is your house," he said through gritted teeth.

"If I tell you, you won't believe me."

I would be dead if looks could kill. "Tell me."

".................Next to my neighbors house.......I'm thirsty. Maybe you might get some answers if you get me some Mt. Dew. Get my friend, here, a Pepsi." He walled out the door and slammed it behind him. I burst into laughter.

"Mari!" she whisper-yelled. "What was that?!"

"That was me trying to make you not as mad at me. Please say you're not as mad as I think you are?" Chloe sent me a glare that sent chills down my spine. Now, that- that- is what I'm afraid of. "I'm sorry, Queenie."

The guy came in with what I "requested" with a smirk on his face. "So, your name is Mary," he said pointing towards me, "and your name is Quinn." He looked like he was proud of himself for finding out the wrong names. I signed to Chloe, "Just say yes," she didn't move. She didn't want to lie to the police.

"Yes," I said. He smirked, thinking he won. I grabbed the can, and drank almost half the can. "DRINK 'AT JUICE!"

"It'll quench ya!"

"NOTHINGS QUENCHIER!

"IIIIIIT'S THE QUENCHIEST!"

"Who lit Toph on fire?" I said, not as loud. "It's a giant mushroom. Maybe it's friendly!" I said getting quieter by the word. "Friendly mushroom! Mushy, giant, frieeeeend." The man looked like he wanted to laugh, but was hiding it in. "Wow, dude, I didn't think police officers watched Avatar." Then he looked fake offended.

"How could you say that?!" he said, looking fake hurt. "That's one of the best shows...like...ever!"

Then we could hear a man on a microphone say, "Dick. Your supposed to interrogate them, not fangirl over your cartoons!"

He looked at me again. "Cool," I said and Dick raised an eyebrow. "My brother's brother's name is 'Dick'"

"Wouldn't that mean he was your brother?"

"No, it's complicated," he gave me a look telling me he was interested. I stood up and looked him in the eye. "Information isn't that easy to get out of me." Then I looked away, getting an idea. "Aren't we supposed to be able to make a phone call?" he groaned and handed a phone over to me. I dialed Jason's number and luckily, he picked up. "Hey, Jay. It's me."

"Pixie?!"

"Yeah. Can you come to the police station. I have no one else to call."

I could hear him groan on the other end, "Fine. I'll be on my way." Then, he hung up. I looked at the phone. "Jay hung up on me!" I said in disbelief. "At least he's coming."

Chloe chuckled, "That's what you get for getting me in trouble. Seriously, I've never been in these types of places before!"

Then I thought of something else. Maybe I could bribe him with MT. "Hey. Do you know who MT is? I could get you personalized clothing if you let me leave." His head snapped up, and he looked so torn.

"Can't," he said, but you could see he wanted to.

I held up two fingers. "Two of whatever you want," I said slowly. He still shook his head. "Two for each person in your family," I said even slower. He looked at me, I could tell he was about to accept my offer, mesmerized by the idea.

"DICK! WHAT ARE YOU DOING! THOSE KIDS WERE TAMPERING WITH EVIDENCE!"

"I swear, that wasn't our intentions. We just wanted to see something, and it just so happened to be in there." The man looked at me and Chloe again.

"Then what were you doing in there?"

That got me thinking. Maybe it just depends on what you tell the police. I thought about every possible outcome, and answered truthfully. Well, almost. "I wanted to see the old missing person board. It had a friend of ours on it, I wanted to see if he still was. I was just curious. I'm just a bad influence on my best friend, and got her to come with me." I didn't want to tell them that I was one of the the missing people on the board because they might take me away, and right now, I'm living a good life. Sadly, I thought too soon. An akuma alert went off on my phone across the room. I inwardly cursed. "I have to use the bathroom and so does my friend. We are still allowed those rights, here in the US." I walked out the door, and Chloe was right behind me. The man was just shocked. Luckily, I had Kalkki on me.

I went into the bathroom and motioned for Chloe to follow. She hesitated, "This is utterly ridiculous." We both said our transformation phrases, and I was now LadyMare. Chloe was now Queen Bee. (I was able to erase everyone's memory of the incident from two years ago).

Time Skip-

We comfort the small child that was akumatized. She looked like she was going to pass out she was so embarrassed. It is unliked me, but I went over to her, "Hey, it wasn't your fault. I know. No one can keep there emotions in check all the time. But maybe, you should talk to your mother if you get mad, or sad. Then, you won't have to be akumatized," I said with a smile on my face. I could see people recording me, but I didn't care. I'm happier now that I have Jason back in my life. Plus, I wanted to stall from going back to that man. The little girl hugged me and I hugged back. There were many more pictures taken.

When we separated, and the small girl was returned to her parents, Chloe came over to me. "Come on, Queenie. Let's go back to that interrogation room," I said with a groan, forgetting about the cameras.
