The aerobics class was wicked.

You loved all the insane outfits people wore just to go to the gym and the music and atmosphere in the workout room was insanely cool.

Everyone seemed so friendly, from the gym instructor to the creepy lesbian looking girl with wiry blonde hair.

She was the one who approached you after the class.

"Heyyy," She said, sliding up to you after you had gotten out of the shower, "I'm not a lez, just friendly." She adds, seeing how freaked out you were at her talking to you for no reason.

"I'm Montana!" She continues, holding her hand out to be shaken, "Montana Duke? You heard of me?"

You shook your head vigorously and walk over towards Brooke so that you wouldn't have to talk to just Montana.

Even though Montana seemed really nice and friendly, there was a small bit about her personality that just got under your skin.

"You will," she says, tilting her head and smiling yet staring intensely at you all at the same time, "I want to become a famous aerobics person when I'm older"

"Cool, you are pretty good at it." You say, finally managing to talk back to her. It was awesome how confidence literally radiated from her.

She raised her eyebrows as if expecting something.

"Ohh er sorry, I'm Y/n." You say this time holding your hand to be shaken.

She smiles and shakes it before she continues babbling on about aerobics.

"So, did you know that the olympics might actually have aerobics as an official event." She says in a matter of fact way.

You nod again before looking back to where you last saw Brooke.

Damn, she had left without you.

Not left as in left the building, she was probably outside waiting in the foyer.

"Wow, how are they even going to judge that?" You say, pretending to be interested just to be polite.

"Like gymnastics I presume." Montana continues, before asking, "Can we exchange numbers? I feel like your the only one that gets me these days."

"Erm yeah sure" You say beaming back at her. In a way, Montana reminded you of Mallory so you didn't mind Montana being around that much.

"What's your number?"

You blush, you hadn't thought about a good excuse for that. You didn't have a home at all and that wasn't a good thing to tell a possible new friend.

Fine. You had to tell her.

"I've just moved here. I don't have a phone." You say, expecting some remark about you being poor but instead Montana just shrugged and wrote her number on your hand.

"Call me at a pay phone or something..." Her eyes suddenly lit up but they looked sort of distant at the same time.

Quickly, she snapped her attention back to you, "You know what! You should totally come with me and my friends to the camp this weekend! We're gonna be counsellors there! It's gonna be epic!"

"What camp?" You ask, anything seemed good to you, especially if you were getting paid and having a place to sleep all in one.

"Camp Redwood."

"I'm in."
